Ray's Tavern

A simple high quality burger that reminds me of home (but better lol). The fries were also super tasty and I loved that I could salt them on my own. For the portion sizes , the prices were good!

On my first visit to Ray's Tavern, I ordered a cheeseburger and fries with a try on attitude, and said something extra before saying how I felt afterwards. I have also eaten a lot of hamburgers from various brand chains, and their taste is basically the same, the taste is similar, and the seasoning is only ketchup. Ray's Tavern is different, the meat is very thick and tender, and afraid that some people do not eat tomatoes, pickles or lettuce, thoughtful to put these on the side of the plate for customers to eat according to their own taste in the burger, French fries are also large and fried taste good! Finally, I have to mention the dip provided by the store, which may be the store's special seasoning, which tastes much better than ketchup, and a box is not enough to eat haha! I really like that this quiet town can have such a good taste of the restaurant, so that the passers-by can have the opportunity to experience different fast food, and will come to taste the food next time there is a chance to pass by! Thanks to the friendly restaurant staff and the friendly local residents! What a great dinner experience! It is recommended for passers-by who want to fill their stomachs and worry about the difficulty of choosing what food to eat! Definitely worth coming back to!

This family run business is absolutely wonderful. They are friendly, kind, and welcoming. Plus, you can watch them make the most incredible burgers while you wait for deliciousness!

We randomly stopped here for food on our way from Moab to Salt Lake City. First visit. We had garden burgers (vegetarian) that were surprisingly delicious. Service was friendly and super quick. If I’m in the area I’ll definitely come back.

Ray's Tavern is a simple place just off the main loop on Green River. The menu is simple and kids can eat here as well. The teriyaki chicken sandwich was delicious and cooked perfectly. I wish they had some of the sauce to use on the sandwich. The fries had good flavor and the fry sauce was good. The salad was fresh and had beats on it which my wife really liked. Had a few dressing options and we did the classic ranch which was good. My son got the basic hamburger and said it was similar to our homemade which is a good thing. We ended with an apple pie to go which had a small ice cream cup. The apple pie was good and had a nice crust.

The best food I’ve had traveling in the past month. I had the cheeseburger and my friends had the grilled salmon and ribeyes…. Everyone agreed that this place is a hidden gem between Denver and Vegas. Do not miss your opportunity to eat here if you are stopping in to sleep overnight. Finish your lunch or dinner with the delicious apple pie.

There are not many choices in town, but this place has enough to make the family happy.

We were in town overnight on a long trip. We walked in with a family of 5 and were promptly seated. The waitress brought water and quickly had our drinks to us.

I ordered a burger which was fantastic. More of a steak burger I think. 2 kids got the chicken strips and my wife and other daughter each got chicken and a salad.

It was a great atmosphere and reasonably priced.

Great food... don't let the outside look fool you. It is so fresh, great quality, and well made. The menu is up on the bar but the food is excellent.

The hidden gem of Green River! Ray’s Tavern is going on my Maps as a saved favorite for the next time we drive through here! So good, I would have this burger for breakfast! 🍔 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I’m a pretty good cook, but this burger had me stumped on how to recreate at home! Must be that seasoned grill! 🕵‍♀ Lol! Whatever it is, I love it and sad I can’t easily get another!

This was a great find as we stayed down the road a few nights over the long weekend. Lots of burgers were ordered and everyone seemed to enjoy them. The pork chop was good but didn't have as much flavor as I would have hoped. The next day we wanted to go back because we all liked it so much the night before but didn't make it as we ran out of time and needed to head back home. Great place to relax. Service was great and the atmosphere was full of things to keep us talking while we waited for our food. Everyone in our group really liked their fries and fry sauce!

Best steaks, anywhere! Awesome fries. I got the 10 oz. NY strip with fries, house salad with blue cheese dressing. Even with credit card charge, it’s a great value!! My steak was well trimmed( very little fat or gristle) and was cooked perfectly! Kudos to the grill guy!

Go in knowing what to expect. Old timey small town bar that serves a few items but does them very well. Great burgers and a decent draft selection. Watched the NFL games here as well.

Great burger, wanted the steak mabe next time, but the burger was delicious, the Coronas were cold and refreshing, thanks for a wonderful evening. I would recommend this 👌 fora snack when you're in the area, keep up the good work and see you when I come back to thisplace!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My first time here,
I'd read the menu (photos posted from other people's reviews) beforehand so that was helpful because they don't have menus at the table, they have one white board above the bar, and if you can't see it from your seat you have to get up to look at it.
Simple fare, they've got various kinds of hamburgers fries and coleslaw, various types of appetizers, and some nice-looking dinners
Some good beer on tap, (I recommend the English style ale and the polygamy porter)
And the service was really fast and attentive.

Great little place for lunch or dinner with a storied hx. well staffed with friendly people. Food is always fresh off the grill. no fuss, no frills.

I ate out on the patio with my doggie which was nice that the had a dog bowl for some water for her. Had the Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich with coleslaw. The sandwich didn't have a hug amount of teriyaki flavor but the chicken was delicious and perfectly cooked. The coleslaw was good nothing amazing. Raul was a great server and made sure I had everything I needed.

Outstanding food and service. The steak and pork chop were cooked perfectly. They have a good selection of craft beers.

A small local place with great food! The hamburger was huge and delicious. Home made fries was great! For drinks, they have beer and wine only. Very friendly place

I have been eating at Ray's tavern for 33 years! Every time I go there it seems better than the last time! This family does an amazing job! Thank you for your amazing food and keep it up! One of these days I got to try one of your peanut butter and jelly sandwiches! Cheers!

Everyone here gets the burger, but I was craving a salad and the teriyaki grilled chicken that topped it was absolutely delicious. Nothing fancy in this salad, just iceberg lettuce, a beet, a cucumber slice, bunch of shredded cheese, and the chicken. But for some reason it really hit the spot. The apple pie is served warm and is delicious! My friends enjoyed their burgers.
