Stopped in during our first trip to Hoodsport. THE BEST customer service AND delicious food! One of the best veggie sandwiches I've eaten. Our entire party enjoyed what they ordered. Breakfast is served all day and everything was very fresh.

Stopped by for breakfast while visiting the area and had an excellent experience. The staff and environment was welcoming— it felt like we were enjoying a meal in a family home. It was obvious that every dish was made from scratch with high quality ingredients. The restaurant attracted a good crowd on a Saturday morning for both indoor and outdoor seating. Highly recommend!

Wonderful cafe on the way up/down the mountain! They're a little on the higher side with prices, but it's worth it. The people are friendly and sweet and the food is amazing! You can tell they make things fresh and with care. I reccommend this place to anyone in the area!

My friend from Tulsa Oklahoma and I visited this restaurant on our way to Lake Cushman for the first time. The service was wonderful. The food was fresh and delicious and the chef created a custom breakfast burrito for my friend and I who are vegetarian. The house fries are so good and so fresh. 200 stars!

What an adorable and cozy cafe on the way to the beautiful views of Lake Cushman! Tried “The Rachel” which is a variation of the Reuben, and thought it was incredible! Definitely a new favorite sandwich😊 the customer service is fantastic, and the overall vibe is relaxing and friendly. Plus who doesn’t love the option of ordering breakfast all day!

I really want to hog this one all to myself.
I got the BBQ Bacon Burger with a side of onion rings. This is definitely the place to come if you're tired of the same old beer -batter onion rings. The Rings were light and crispy and very lightly seasoned and absolutely delicious, not to mention a amazing Burger the likes of which I haven't experienced in quite a while!

A great place to stop for a burger after a long day hiking. The staff is friendly. The fries are bomb! There is a nice patio to sit and enjoy the outdoors while you eat. A must stop before or after your adventures.

Now just digesting my latest in a string of meals at Nina's. The fries are still magic, the house dill dressing is to die for. I cannot recommend this place highly enough, again!

Stopped here to eat the other day. Beautiful location, adorable “small country town” vibe restaurant with very kind and efficient staff. Drink prices were very reasonable and were made very well. Food was a bit pricey, but that burger was AMAZING!! If I could’ve married that burger I would’ve. Cooked to perfection with fresh vegetables. You could tell everything was local, fresh and homemade. Even the pickle was clearly home cooked. If you’re in the Hoods Port area, be sure to make a stop here!

After a long couple days of camping and hiking wagon wheel lake I was exhausted. On my way out I drove by Nina's Lake Cushman Cafe. Drove past on my way out, looked so clean and beautiful on the outside I turned around to eat there, and I'm glad I did! Hearty menu! Had breakfast, so delicious I didn't even get a picture of the food! Healthy portions, just delicious. This is a new tradition when I visit Cushman! Soul food! They are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Covid safe.

Delicious food and a great outdoor space! Super cute and they had curtains for the weather, plus looked like heaters for the winter. Sandwich and burgers were well sized!
Wait for food took a little long but they had a sign letting you know ahead of time (which is much appreciated) and servers were super attentive coming by to check on us and make sure we had full beverages! Will definitely be back when in the area!!

Local joint with burgers and sandwiches executed really well plus some rotating daily specials that are always delicious. Beer and wine available. Outdoor and indoor seating. Outdoor tables have heaters and curtains making them work even on a cool or rainy day. Highly recommend making a stop here!!

This place is a hidden gem. For anybody that is going hiking, or on the way to the park, you need to stop here and get an expertly grilled sandwich, or munch on a fresh salad with yummy house dressing. Their desserts looked amazing, and for the breakfast fans, they had a huge menu. They were kind to our dogs (and we had 3!!), brought us water outside for the beast, and were careful about social distancing and all guidelines. It was excellent! I can't wait to eat there again. I didn't stop eating long enough to take a picture. It was that yummy!

The food was tasty, the staff was sassy and friendly. We had to wait quite a while due to a last minute staffing issue, but sometimes that's just the way life is. Lucky we weren't in a rush and they did an amazing job with the small number of employees they had.

Went into this little gem of a place on our way out of Hoodsport, my only regret was not going in sooner! Greeted with incredibly friendly, attentive service, I got a side order of a biscuit and gravy with some hash browns to go. To describe the food: Holy. Cow. The man behind the grill knows EXACTLY what he’s doin’! From the gravy, to the hash browns, everything was seasoned perfectly. Hash browns were the proper balance of crispy outside and soft on the inside. The biscuits melt in your mouth! The gravy was the perfect consistency. As a southerner I felt right at home even miles away. The one biscuit was more than enough to fill me up, along with the hash browns; if you’re not feeling the full order. I would’ve gotten a photo, but I wasted zero time in experiencing the meal to its fullest even in a to go container! Overall, do not sleep on this place if you’re in the area! You will not be disappointed!
