Lizzie's Dining Car & Caboose Bar

Fun ambiance! Loved that each booth has their own TV with train window footage to immerse patrons in the experience. Food and drinks were both delicious. Definitely recommend to anyone within driving distance.

Great food & an awesome atmosphere! We stopped in for lunch and were seated quickly. Cool little booths that appear to be old school bus seats. Each booth had a TV and window dressing to give you the impression of rolling down the tracks.
We got a burger and a tenderloin, both were good. Burger was juicy and had a good bun. The tenderloin was also good, but it was thick; not the thin, size of your plate, style I prefer.
The fries are fantastic, and the cheese curds are a must for an appetizer.
Best part, prices are very reasonable for the quantity and quality of food.
There isn't much space for parties larger than 2 adults.
We will definitely be coming back to try the supper menu.

I had the opportunity to meet Lizzie while dining tonight and she is wonderful. The passion she poured into this place shines as you look around and take it all in. The attention to detail makes it a memorable experience - everything from the "outside" window views to an actual train whistle you can blow at the front!

There were so many enticing options on both the food and drink menus, I can't wait to try it all. I will definitely be returning.

Wonderful atmosphere and good food. This unique dining experience caught me off guard. The entire dining area is set up to simulate an old fashioned train dining car, complete with screens with moving scenery! I loved it!!

We enjoyed the cool booths with a train car feel. The burger was good and the pulled pork had a bbq sauce with a little zing, very tasty.

Really exceeded our expectations. Ordered the Triple B burger and the Club Car, both with fries and an appetizer of cheese balls. The food was great, large portions and the service was wonderful. Will be back to try more on the menu.

Love Lizzies! Food is so good. Our waitress was very attentive despite being very busy with other tables. Can't remember her name but she had a cast on her arm. She is a hard worker.

Made a road trip out of a regional volleyball game night! Found Lizzie's on the route and we were not disappointed. I had the heaping full and satisfying chicken pot pie and my husband had the tadty lasagna. Even the lettuce salad was exploding with flavor! The cheesecake with homemade blackberry sauce for dessert was amazing! Also, the entire community rang out Iowa Nice, couldn't even get in our car without a couple nice ladies telling us about a great ice cream place down the street! We will be back!

I had the best beef vegetable soup I’ve ever had. The three cheese grilled sandwich was wonderful. They even added a couple of slices of tomato at my request. I would come here again.

The train was ON TIME! This is my new spot! The menu is impressive, service is spectacular, and ugh... The Aesthetics!! The Drinks? Fire. The mashed potatoes are real, y'all... It's the perfect get away.

Imagine a restaurant decorated like a rail car, with moving scenery on screens along the walls! The food is Midwestern comfort food, and man, is it good! The decor is whimsical, and fun, and the staff is fantastic!

Had the tenderloin with onion rings, and it did not disappoint! So much more on the menu I wanted to try! I'll just have to go back!

Went there on a whim. Extremely surprised to find fabulous food. This is not your greasy small town cafe. I'd drive a long way out of my way to stop here again.
