Old Time Pizza

Just left Old Time Pizza in Kearny. Great pizza, friendly service, fun atmosphere. The place was busy with dine in and take out orders so the wait time was a little extended but we did not mind. We took a stroll to check out some of the local businesses.

When we arrived our pizza was ready. The pizza had fresh toppings and good quality cheese. We were given red chili flakes and Parmesan cheese which is a usual accompanyments at most pizza places but here they also provide a bottle of ranch dressing!!! Most places you will have to pay $1.00 or more for a small cup of ranch.

When we were heading out I got a chance to thank the staff for the food and service. Shane shared a brief history of Old Time Pizza and I was able to share a story with him about the time I was the Galaga champion of Kearny about 25 years ago.

I recommend Old Time Pizza when you are in Kearny. Great hard working friendly staff, great pizza, and cool fun retro atmosphere.

Yummy yummy! The pizza was hot and oh so crispy. Also, they were very generous with the pepperoni (the slice was coated). I also like how the to-go box they offered also included a plate to eat from. The pizza was perfectly cheesy too and not too heavy on the sauce- nice and fresh.
They had plenty of seating indoors, and they also have some old-time arcade games to play on. Overall had a great and tasty experience!

Was in town for a biker poker run. Went in for pizza, there was a little wait because we didn't call ahead. Still wasn't long to get a fresh made pie! Was the best pizza I've had in a long time! If I'm in the area again, I'll be stopping in to get their pizza for sure.

This place is just as amazing and has delicious pizza as when I was a child. It's my favorite pizza place to go to.

Excellent pizza with friendly staff. You could tell from the items on the walls they have been in business for quite awhile. I'd only recommend continuing to ad to the history on the walls for a breath of fresh air into the decor.

Really, really good pizza!! I like my chicken wings fried, and theirs wasn't, but they still tasted great! I'm definitely going back...a lot!!

I’ve had many pizzas in my life and I personally have to say this is one of the best I’ve had. The dough was perfect and not to much and the sauce was delicious. We ordered a cheese and it was so cheesy and gooey. It tasted fresh. Wasn’t greasy like most pizzas and great prices. Can’t wait to go and try other food here. Very family friendly place and such a cute clean place and everyone there is so nice.

Great food and great customer service! We have been there multiple times and will return in the future. Fun little place in downtown Kearny. Can get busy because they are good.

Friendly place food was great

This was our 1st time in Kearny so we weren't familiar with the various places to eat. We passed by Old Time pizza and thought we would give it a try. We were immediately greeted with a "hi" and "how are you doing today"
My husband had the lunch special which was 2 slices of pizza and a large drink for $7. I had 1 slice and an ice tea. That was the best tea I've ever had! Pizza just came out of the oven and was smothered with cheese and pepperoni. We highly recommend them. Next time I'll be trying the salad as it was loaded with all sorts of wonderful veggies!

Great people and vibe to go with it. My burger was on point with all the toppings you would want without the side of over stacking on the top bun. Even made my buddies sandwich how he wanted other then they added mustard to his mix, but great food and beer and staff to make everything you want in a dinning experience

While hiking the AZT I had no idea I would stumble upon a town (and specifically a business) that would bless me with the amount of kindness I received from Gary and the crew at old time pizza! I was trying to hitch into town from the trailhead and the owner of this restaurant picked me up, introduced me to his employees, and offered to give me a ride back to the trailhead the following morning. It is a welcoming spirit like this one that keeps the magic of the AZT alive and beautiful! The pizza was AMAZING (hiker hunger took control - I ate 4 slices) and the beer was cold! Thank you OTP for being the grooviest establishment on this wonderful trail! I hope to be back again!

Most stop when in the area. Love how much they support the azt hiking community. Price is right to load up before heading back out on the trail :) if you have good timing and a lil lucky they'll deliver to the TH too :)
