Church Street Bagels

Nice spot in Denville,NJ for bagels or flagels. Had a everything bagel with cream cheese… very good. Returned the next day and got a flagel (a thin bagel) and liked that even more. Coffee was good, but have had better. Go for the bagels!

Great service and very friendly usually, but how do you interpret butter as peanut butter and put that on a bagel instead … Really? One of the workers was in the back taking forever for that order as well and claimed “he didn’t know he had to make the orders”. I do really love this place nonetheless and will be back but some workers really do need to be more attentive.

This is one of the best bagel spots in NJ. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious and the price is right. I have lived in NJ for 25 years and haven’t had a bagel nearly as good as the ones from Church St. All of their ingredients are super fresh and their menu is filled with great choices. I will be recommending this place to everyone.

Great place for lunch! Everything is fresh and the staff is friendly and very helpful. Lots of choices on the menu, it's hard to decide what to order. Not much indoor seating, but plenty of outdoor seating. My friend said the breakfast sandwich was hands down the best she's ever had!!

Really delicious breakfast sandwich. They have all sorts of choices, a variety of bagels, good coffee. Nice outdoor seating, cozy inside. We had a chipotle breakfast sandwich and the avocado egg melt. You should eat here.

Great bagels and sandwiches! It gets quite crowded (a testament to the bagels!), so I recommend take out vs. dine in. But we’ve done both. Excellent bagel place. I recommend the Nova lox (smoked salmon).

This is my favorite place to stop for breakfast or lunch when I'm cycling in the Denville area. Lots of other cyclists stop here as well.

There is a wide assortment of hot and cold dishes for both breakfast and lunch. The burritos and wraps are all amazing, the Smart Coffee they sell is wonderful, and the food always tastes fresh and delicious.

This is not a large place, but I've always managed to get seating inside during cooler weather or at one of the outside tables on a warm day.

Definitely worth a trip for breakfast or lunch if you're in the area. Nice casual dining at relatively inexpensive prices.

Not only are the bagels the best in Jersey, the staff is amazing too! They created a community that welcomes everyone! The best part is they merged with smart house coffee to give the best of both worlds for morning breakfast! No more making two stops to get the perfect bagel and morning drink. They have several types of cream cheese, which is fun for me to always try something different. Have your daily favorite or try something new, either way you won’t be disappointed here!
Not only are these bagels fresh and fluffy, but they’re rich in flavor. Kids love the Tye dye bagels. Here’s a picture of this mornings breakfast- Taylor ham, egg and cheese (a NJ tradition) and a shore burrito! Make sure to say hi to Frankie, the owner, as he takes pride and joy in making everyone smile!

There’s not better breakfast and bagel experience than CSB. Let’s start with the bagels — they’ve mastered the art of using the perfect amount of salt and wow these bagels are massive. When I think of jersey bagels and what they’re known for, I think of CSB. The chipotle melt is my favorite thing on the menu but you can’t go wrong. Plus, if you’re lucky, you’ll be greeted by the widest smiling owner you’ve ever met - ask for “Frankie Bagels”

By far the best place for bagels in the area. Bagels are fresh, sandwiches are delicious and start is amazing. Whether I'm eating in or taking out, church St is my #1 choice. They're also on door dash!!!

Great sandwiches, and better coffee. I was so happy to see that Smart World had a new location here. My kids go bananas for rainbow bagel breakfast sandwiches and this did not disappoint. I had the Chicken Salad and I appreciate that they box cold sandwiches.

Great food. Absolutely delicious bagels. Good cream cheese options. Pastrami is lovely. My only complaint is that they shut down the grill an hour before closing. Not enough to lose a star.

This is my favorite place in the world. If you’re looking for the perfect NJ bagel, look no further! These are the best I’ve ever had. All of the food is amazing! I highly recommend the avocado veggie melt. Also, go on the weekend to get the french toast bagel (it will change your life). But food aside, the people are what make CSB a special place. Since day one, Frankie and his team have treated me with such kindness and made me feel at home. I spend a lot of time here, and I see that’s how they treat everybody. Fantastic spot for a quick breakfast. Outdoor and indoor seating. Bagels are delicious. Cream cheese is delicious. Coffee is always of high quality and prepared well. Never burnt never off. Staff are high quality and kind. Lots of different sandwiches available. I get a bagel with nova lox. A lot of times places will just slam salmon on cream cheese and call it a day. This place takes the time to make a full beautiful sandwich with all the appropriate toppings displayed in an appealing manner.

Excellent food and quick service! I received the wrong order and they remade it quickly and without question. Some of the best veggie cream cheese I've ever had. Will definitely be back!

This is my absolute FAVORITE bagel store around. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Frankie and his staff really take care of the customers. I love the Mediterranean omelets. The coffee is great too. Worth the trip and the wait on the weekend. There is a reason it's so crowded on the weekend, it's the quality!!!

Absolutely amazing bagels and drinks. Today I got an everything bagel with strawberry cream cheese. One of the best bagels I've ever had. And I got a small strawberry oj smoothie with it. Absolutely amazing and the prices are great!

Not just the best bagel shop around.. it’s the best in the country! Franky and his crew are the best!!

First time here, ordered the chicken ceasar wrap and will definitely come back, food was delicious!
