Shrimp It Up - Bar & Grill

It was easy to find, very clean, and the employee were genuinely friendly. The wait time for food was quick and delicious. I had snapper and hot wings. The wings were perfectly cooked! Crisp on the outside and so tender inside. They also do bingo for food gift cards in restaurant.

The food and drinks are so good. I had the shrimp basket with seasoned fries and my husband had the shrimp & fish basket with tots. We also had a few drinks. They have frozen margaritas/or on the rocks. The waitress/bartender is very nice and attentive. The only thing I didn't like is that when you walk in you have to order at the bar (for your food and drinks) and then grab your number and sit down but it's not a horrible thing, the food and service goes beyond that. Every time we were eating, we kept saying how good the food was. Awesome spot for aransas pass!
They also have an outside area with tables and lights.

Edit*** do not order the nachos. They are chips and cheese melted in true microwave with meat on top. Other than that it was great

They had a game of bingo going that I absolutely thought was going to be problematic but nopppppeeee! It kept the kids entertained and the food was so amazing! Absolutely recommend for families

This placed opened in July 2023. The Ambiance is excellent. Very clean. Service was great. Plenty of parking. Food was excellent. reasonably priced. Pool table, plenty of TVs for sporting events. The owner and waitress (Charlene) were constantly checking on us to see if we needed anything. Great service. Beer was ice cold. I highly recommend this place.

This place is fantastic!! The food is great with a HUGE menu. The staff are fantastic!! 3 games of bingo every night 6, 7, 8, and no cost. The winner gets a $10.00 gift card. Darts, pool, outdoor patio. It's just an all-around great place. Stop in and check them out!! Family friendly, and very reasonable prices.

This is a fantastic hangout spot with great food, friendly staff, and cold drinks! I had a grilled shrimp taco and a grilled mahi taco... I just started liking fish tacos about a year ago. These were some of the best tacos I've had! My husband had the Honey Sirracha wings and they were crispy and full of flavor! The beer was cold and the staff and owners were friendly! We will definitely be going back the next time we're in town! We felt so welcomed the minute we stepped in the door! A complete opposite experience from GOAT a few minutes earlier. If you're looking for great food and a friendly atmosphere, go to Shrimp it up!

Just in for the weekend. A nice place to sit and enjoy a well prepared dinner. The draft beer selection is good and served "beer cold". A/C is plentiful. We enjoyed this spot and will come back.

We had a baked potato and coconut shrimp. Both were very good.
Small restaurant, you order at the counter, and they bring the food to your table.
Good food and cold beer. Doesn't get much better than that.

We are in Port A for the weekend. All the restaurants on the island is an hour plus wait. We came to the mainland and found this restaurant. Very nice people and the food was delicious. Service was fast and didn’t turn away our large group.

Shrimp Nachos are divine, they pile on the shrimp!

We had drinks and cheese curds... Cheese curds were fantastic. The hospitality iwas refreshing .... Definitely recommend ...plus they have the sports package...

Shure wish I took a picture but the food here is fantastic. I am hard on reviews, check out my others... this place is great. I had a philly cheese steak sandwich and wife had alfredo fettuccine . Other couple came out when we arrived and were raving about the shrimp boil. Enjoy!

Tried out this cool little shrimp place. Gumbo was delicious, $3 IPA, free bingo that I won a $10 gift card. We will be back.

This place is awesome! Service was great! We ordered cheese curds, peel & eat shrimp and also shrimp boil. Had couple of beers and a margarita! The shrimp was huge and tasted great! We will definitely be back!

Locally owned by our new friend Mark, he fed our band and allowed our band to play on his outdoor patio. We had a great time and plan on going back soon.

Take out is available... Stopped by on the way home from a job. I ordered a drink and a menu. Try the Gumbo! You can stand a spoon in it! And the Mango Sauce on the Shrimp Taco's is Great! 👍 Thanks

It's our favorite fish and shrimp place. Food is fresh and hot and they have a great variety on their menu. Nice place to have dinner.
