The quintessential little cafe in a town known for a historic mission and the namesake directorial venture of the most famous filmmakers in the world.
The coffee is spot on. The service is very courteous and the people are warm. You can sit with that cup in the patio and spend the whole day in the sun.
I loved the coffee roaster on site and the pace was just different as it took us back to a coffee infused time of small batch roasting.
Definitely an experience to check out and grab a bag of beans to reminiscence and get back again!

Honestly one of the best coffee shops anywhere. Friendly staff. And a really nice breakfast and lunch menu. The pizzas are amazing. Beer and wine too if coffee ain't your thing. It's cute inside... but hang out outside :)

Had coffees and pastries. It was great and setting it does was very nice to enjoy. It's open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with good selections on the menu. They were roasting their coffee beans today. Nice to be in a real coffee shop. Thank you, we will be back!!

I ended up here for a stopover..this was soooooooo good..if i coud i would come here daily..but its a bit far from germany

They have a really delicious breakfast sandwich and drinks! Their marsala chai is great iced as is the specialty drink, the Spellbound. I think it was espresso with half and half and cinnamon but I could be wrong. It was delicious though!

It's not every day a coffee shop delivers a delicious culinary experience. Their menu might be short, but the breakfast bowl is worthy of an upscale brunch joint--delicious bacon, scrambled (as opposed microwaved) eggs, and super tasty potatoes, topped with creamy avocado. Good value, super friendly staff, beautiful garden.

Vertigo is always a satisfying stop for me. Good coffee, good food, and a rotating selection of beers are served by friendly staff. The menu has grown over time and I always leave full and happy.

Today my wife and I shared a Margherita Pizza and a Santa Fe Salad. The pizza crust was excellent, even by a New Yorker's standards, and the sauce had a good balance of sweetness with a hint of spiciness. Unfortunately, there was very little cheese and basil, making today's pie more like sauce on crust - see the attached photo.

The salad was well-balanced and tasty, as was the dressing. I ordered a marzenbier from the tap, and it complemented the flavors perfectly. Overall, Vertigo is a five star joint in my book. Today's topping-deficient pizza was still tasty enough, and the staff friendly enough, that I'd consider it a 4.5 star meal.

Wonderful coffee! Been coming here for years. The coffee is delicious always. Very pretty place. Staff is great and good places to sit indoors and out. A must stop shop for fabulous coffee and treats! There’s street parking that’s always available.

I haven't had the food yet, but the coffee is delicious. The place is cute with an outdoor patio and very aesthetically pleasing interior.

Came here for breakfast before kayaking and dinner after. Breakfast burrito w salsa was just so wholesome and delicious. The mushroom pizza was awesome! All Kinds of mushrooms on an extremely fragrant sourdough! Wish I can eat here every day even though I would have given 5 stars just for their coffee!

Coffee, wood fired pizza, local wines available, and the coffee is roasted on premise and is good.
Dog friendly.

Fun coffee shop in quaint San Juan Bautista. Worth the stop for the ambience, yummy coffee and garden seating.

A simple yet modern, gourmet menu with some really delicious seasonal specials. The pizza crusts are to die for - just right - thin enough, but with good bubbles and stretch in the dough for a light, crisp but wholesome affair! The coffee is fresh and REAL.

There is a great beer garden, but really, you are here for the pizza and coffee.

I've had a wide variety of their wares, drinks, and food. I have zero issues with any of it. Top notch all around. Service is excellent. Love the events, art, open mic, and overall vibe. 11 out of 10, always recommend.

Stopped by for some coffee during a road trip. They had a good selection of freshly roasted coffee beans. They had a good selection of local beers on tap and in cans.

We always love stopping by this spot for coffee and food. Their pizzas are phenomenal, too.

Service is a little slow especially when they’re busy but it’s worth the wait. The Breakfast sandwich was delicious and I added vanilla sweetener to a cold brew and it tastes like honey.
