It's a great spot. It's a lake town, so if you're expecting a chain burger and ice cream store, it's not that. But it is good food and service, especially after a day at the lake.

Old home town fast food. Fresh never frozen beef, ground in store. Side items cooked to order.. and the ice cream is a must have! Stop by and grab a freeze or flavor burst.. you won’t be disappointed! *since they tend to get super busy might have to wait a few extra minutes. But it’s worth the wait.* very friendly staff. Highly recommend if you’re in Skiatook!

We've been going here for 25 years. Ice cream is so good, texture is amazing. Always fresh food and service is nice and friendly. We always recommend a sweet treat stop in if someone's driving by.

Oh what a delightful trip back to the way things used to be! Food hot and fresh made to order. They made me my first cookies and cream malt with extra malt.....it hit the spot. The cheeseburger was fine and the crispy fries were good too. For just about what you'd pay at McDonald's, you'll get a much better experience and feel good that you've helped the little guy! Strongly Recommend!

Ice cream is bomb! Slow service, decent other food. Wish they were a bit more polite though.

This is a staple for the area. While it's changed owners and names over the years, it's still the same menu and great taste I remember. Great burgers, fries, and of course ice cream.

Love the jumbo double with bacon. Best burger in the area! Never disappoints.

Good burger, good shakes, dip cones, and onion rings. I don't like their chili, but you have to get their dip cones.

Tastes more like the original tastes freeze than they used to. I hear it's only good when they haven't cleaned the grill thoroughly, Hmmmmmm.

The Freeze is everything I loved about my childhood. I always looked forward to special trips to Tasty Freeze, and this place has been frozen in time, right down to the old-school menu board. It is still as good as I remember.

The cheeseburgers are my favorite, and the fried pickles are pretty awesome, with just a touch of spiciness. I love their ice cream and shakes with all the varieties of add-ins. The limeade is true perfection and tastes like grandma's. The sweet tea tastes fresh brewed. I'm not as crazy about the French fries--they always seem a little sad, soggy, and undersalted.

The Freeze often has a line out into the road, and I understand why. When something is right, don't change it.

The staff was very nice and polite. But the burger was the best I've had since I moved back to Oklahoma. It was very juicy and perfectly cooked. I'll have to go back and see if it is consistent or not. Fingers crossed.

I had the jumbo burger which is actually a normal size. My wife got a regular burger and it looked like a regular burger from McDonald’s only it tasted much better-as well as the jumbo burger. I only bring this point up for reference purposes of potential customers. The tots and curly fries were also fresh and very good. We topped it off with regular soft serve ice cream 🍦It was better than most others. Obviously, everyone has something different that they look for in all of these items. What works well for some doesn’t work for others. However, it was all good enough to bring me back from out of town to repeat the experience. One more important side note: In today’s new world of lame experiences that one can have eating out, this place was fully staffed,fully alert and friendly. It was very refreshing.

Nashville hot chicken sandwich is outstanding. One of the few places that serves a hot bbq sauce that actually is *hot* in my experience. I like food that bites back and this is it! Whoever is on the fryer knows their business too...comes out crispy and hot without being burnt or over darkened from old oil. Come in for a dipped cone if you don't mind it being a bit messy. I usually get their coconut creme pie freeze though...hard to find flavor in a lot of places and served in a cup for a clean and portable dessert option.

Always love this place! Especially the ice cream. Courteous, efficient n prompt! Haven't been inside in years due to the hassle with my own senior n physical disabilities. But I'm sure it's just as pleasant as ever! I live in Hominy n try to stop by when I come thru Skiatook. What a nice little city it's become. Thank you, Tastee Freeze!

I mainly go here because I love getting dip cones. But we finally stopped and ate lunch here and was pleased with the quality of the food. However, the cheese bites are horrible.

Awesome joint. They have great food, great ice cream, and amazing service. Yes they get very busy and it may take a while to get your food but that should tell you something about the place. It's very good!!

Freeze was incredibly good! I tried the Almond Joy and my husband the butterfinger. Swiss Bacon Mushroom burger was large and tasted very good. Freshly squeezed cherry limeade was oh so delicious!!

Local, hot and fresh food. Cheeseburger had tasty grilled onions. Onion Rings cooked perfectly & seasoned well - I didn't want ketchup. We used the drive-up window.
