Reliable, predictable, economic, thoughtful. I don't understand the complaints. I don't think it's actually in the job description to deliver your package up a long driveway if you are on a rural route, for example.

I always request USPS shipping. USPS thinks it's still worth it to have an office in my town, can take my outgoing package TODAY (not like FEDEX), can find my house (not like UPS), has a real person in the office I can talk to, forwarded my PO box mail to my rural route during the pandemic. Great service. I hope they survive.

Absolutely wonderful and magical place with old fashioned brass mailboxes, nestled in the back of a village store, that went above and beyond during the pandemic.

Possibly the absolute worst customer service. The postmaster should either retire or find a different profession. Just a simple hello, thank you or your welcome would be sufficient. A scowl on her face and a horrid attitude and not even on word sure sets the mood of dreading to pick up your package or have anything to have interact with her. Customer service #101 greet the customer.

UPDATE 3/2/24- STILL UNRELIABLE AT ACTUALLY DELIVERING PACKAGES.

Hardly ever get packages delivered to my house. 95% held for pickup, and I don't find out until after they're already closed. Limited hours to begin with. Complained to NE Postmaster, my state rep, to no resolution. Always told the USPS is shortstaffed and experiencing higher volume (service was already terrible before the pandemic). Well...maybe, hire more people. I hear some people may be looking for work right now. Or don't accept shipping contracts (Amazon??) that you can't handle.

I want to support the USPS, I really do. But supporting something that doesn't work is just ridiculous.

The odd hours make the consistently unreliable service far worse the I would have imagined.

Simply unreliable for delivery of packages of any size. Frequent visits to the Post Office to collect mail are a necessity in Thetford Center. The odd hours of business make this a real difficulty.

They never deliver packages. Claims to be a “rural” P.O..... maybe twenty years ago but the UV has grown. Nice people who refuse to do their job.

COMPLETELY unreliable for deliveries, and they even dishonestly mark deliveries on amazon as "out for delivery" when what they actually mean is they'll drop a slip in your mailbox telling you to come pick it up during their strange and uncooperative operating hours.

called for help tracking a pkg. Put on hold. Never came back to the phone. Very Poor service.
