Good local post office. Friendly staff and you almost never have to wait. Whatever bad reviews this post office has received are from people who have never actually had to wait in line at a busy post office! Also the hours clearly state the building is closed from 11am to 12:15pm. So if you show up during that time, say 12 noon, don’t expect to be let in! I almost never write google reviews, but this post office is getting a bad rap on Google for no good reason!

I think Tom at the fairlee post office is one of the best people I've ever interacted with. He is the ideal candidate for someone to trust with your mail by far.

USPS has become one big scam. They overcharge people wrongfully, the supervisors lie about it when asked to investigate, they put strangers’ mail into your mailbox (constantly getting other people’s confidential letters such as bank and medical statements), the hours are impossible for busy working people and they are sloooow. Always out of stamps, even before the holiday season. No more bailouts with our tax money! UPSP needs to be shut down. UPS and FedEx are so much better.

arrived a few seconds after 12 noon. Employee was outside the front door emptying the post box. Customer was exiting the building. I was not allowed in the get mail from my box. I was rudely told that the building was CLOSED. This is not how to treat people.
