An incredible stop along I-65. I got the veggie burrito and it was so tasty, quick, and affordable. Will be back!

When you see a taqueria with a grocery attached, you go there instead of the neighboring fast food chain. They have fresh ingredients and that food comes out hot. Cabeza and carnitas burritos were deeply fulfilling, and deeply flavorful. Grab takeout and a couple drinks over in the grocery, grab a package of tamales for later.

This is a diner/grocery store and worth a stop. Only a few options on the menu, but crazy good chicken tacos. So moist and flavorful and my taco was solid meat almost (see photo.) Only bad experience: Restroom had no toilet paper. 😞

Awesome to find such amazing authentic Mexican food in such an unexpected place. Some of the best tacos I’ve had in a while! Absolutely loaded too.

Everything in restaurant was awesome, food was great, service was great and the store has a lot to offer for those who love Mexican cuisine. Everyone was very friendly.

Really fresh, very spicy and super flavorful! We were traveling through and found this place on Google while looking for a dinner spot. If you are traveling and looking for a pit stop for dinner go here!!! You won’t regret it. So good!

Best authentic soft shell chicken tacos I've ever had. My husband had the chicken/beef fajitas and he really enjoyed.
The restaurant is also a Mexican store so don't be confused when you walk in. Definitely stop at this place if you're hungry!

Don’t let the looks fool you. My husband and I were driving through the area headed to Wisconsin. Found this place. We got to the front door and paused—went to turn around. But a gentleman in the parking lot encouraged us to go inside (it’s a grocery store when you first walk in)

This place is hands down the best restaurant in town if you’re in the mood for Mexican! Walking in the store you feel like you’re walking into a diner in Mexico it’s so authentic and the service is always superb! I feel like the look of the place turns people away but if you’re not a judgy person you need to give this place a try! The food is 100% authentic (they don’t serve chips and salsa but you get to pick your own drink in the cooler, which I like) they also have a wonderful store attached to the restaurant with so many goodies! Their fruit/veggies are the best and biggest in town and they have so many amazing drinks and snacks to try and even some marinated meat to buy in the back! All the workers are so kind and even let me take home some tea and fruit when their card reader wasn’t working and told me to just come back and pay tomorrow which I gladly did because that was the kindest thing anyone has ever done for me at a grocery store. This place is legit and amazing

Truly authentic Mexican cuisine. My Mexican girlfriend absolutely loved the grilled fish, and I enjoyed sopes very much!

This is the real deal. Home made and so fresh. Lots of love and tradition in this cooking. If you want authentic Mexican food look no further. Great find can’t wait to make this way and come again.

Decent mexican food to be on the road

Extremely good tacos in the Middle-of-Nowhere, Indiana. Certainly worth a stop if you're going between Indy and Chicago and hungry. Friendly service, clean, family-run. Good selection of meats. Tacos are BIG, about 1.5x the size of the ones I usually get.

Spectacular! I don’t have a photo because I ate it! Tacos de carnitas. The meat was tender and flavorful. Sauces had the right amount of kick. Exactly what I wanted and I was not disappointed. Highly recommend.
