We called Central Maine Disposal on a Saturday for an emergency clog in our waste line to the septic tank. We called about 8 other companies who never even returned our calls. CMD not only called back, but they talked us through how to fix the clog ourselves (for no charge), and offered to come out Sunday morning if we couldn't get it done. But we were able to get it fixed.

I'm a contractor. I was working on a job site where there was one of their dumpsters that was very close to the building due to limited place to put the dumpster. I was not on the the job site one of the days they came to empty it . One of my ladder got damaged in the process. They accepted responsibility. Not only did they buy me a new ladder they also delivered it. Very professional business. Thank you casella!

Solid curbside pickup experience so far. Happy with the account setup, fair price, and first pickup was spot-on. Way better than the last place that would skip me and I'd have to remind them throughout the day. Thanks, Casella.

They pick n choose who has to wear hard hat and who doesn't. Plus ground where trash goes not cleaned up with magnet. Huge spikes n nails all over concrete pad.

This company is consistently unreliable. They switch days constantly, they frequently just miss pick ups, and their autopay is a mess. They won't come if there's even a dusting of snow which doesn't work in Maine. Plus every time you call there's no straight answer. Someone always has to research and get back to you - which they sometimes do and sometimes don't.

There is room for major improvement. The guy that runs the inside is very rude. It's congested and he's always uptight up there

Purchased a home which had a dumpster already on the property. Called Casella multiple times telling them to not remove the dumpster and that I'd like to keep that service. I was told multiple times that a sales agent would get back to me and that they'd put a note in my file to not remove the dumpster. Today, after a few weeks since my first call, they came and removed the dumpster off my property without giving me any notice whatsoever. Their loss, Riverside Disposal was happy to take my business and I was never placed on long holds when I called them either.

Don't bother! I have called them several times this morning to inquire if they were going to pick up our recycles. Customer service stated they would TRY to call me back..I needed to know! Customer service stated that our recycles had been picked up on 12/27/19 at 8:30--really? Today is 12/30 and I have a pile and the voice mail that i received on 12/23/19 stated that due to Christmas, the pick up day would be moved forward 1 day to Saturday. I told them to pick up their recycle receptacle and go away!! They shouldn't be given any stars. BTW they were scheduled to pick up every other Friday and I'm lucky if they stopped once a month!!

I am paying 45.00 per month and I my recycles are MAybe picked up once per month. I call and get the same old excuse, “the recycling team is running behind”. I put my recycles out at 6 am and my neighbors recycling is picked up...But not mine.
I called late yesterday morning and asked again why my recycling was not picked up and was again told “that the team is behind but mine will be picked up. “. The CSR who I spoke to this morning said there WERE NO notes about the team being behind. Wow could this company be any more dishonest? I’m not paying this months bill and will trash my recycles as this is a total headache. I asked the CSR if this team of theirs has a list of customers to refer to so that no one is missed. I heard crickets and this waste management company is too disorganized.

For the last 8 weeks they have left half of our garbage in the barrel. Those bags that kept getting left broke and leaked all over our barrel, and because they keep leaving the lid open it is now full of rancid trash water. We brought this issue up with them today with pickup and the only result was arguments with their driver. They are a trash removal service that puts emphasis on the word “trash”

Day 3 of waiting for routine curb side garbage pickup...Casella is great until they suddenly for no reason decide to stop showing up. You can call them but all you get is the run around...they will act like they've never been to your house before...when you've been a customer for literally years. 1st call they said "oh they're running late". 2nd call..."they''ll be there within the hour". Never showed up. 2nd day and 3rd call..."oh they'll be there today"...4th call later that day..."they will be there". Nope. 5th call..."we don't know where your house is"...after 4 years of curbside service.

Called customer service and was told they are open Saturdays today (saturday) went to the website and said closed. So I called again today (2 weeks later after my 1st call) and was told were open until noon oh no wait we don't start that until April 1st. I found the agent to be very rude. I asked if I called back would I get a different answer cause I am getting one this time different from the 1st. She got snooty and said no I can email you the information to show im not lying. I am all set trying to work with a company that has horrible customer service. 1st impressions are important as a consumer.

Horrible! York switched over to Casella, and the first pickup they only picked up the left side of the neighborhoods trash. I called the company, and they said it would be picked up, and one week later my stinky garbage is still sitting at the curbside! Horrible service, wishing we stuck with waste management.
