Chowder Heads

This place has the best clam chowder I have ever had and I have had many!!! You can tell it doesn’t sit in a pot all day because the potatoes don’t fall apart like they have sat in heat all day. Really good!!! Oysters were blue points and they were nice and cold. The kids had chicken tenders and fries and the tender were very good and freshly made!! We also had garlic white wine mussel which were amazing!! For dessert we had the apple crisp and peanut butter pie. Everything was great!!! We were in there at about 4pm so it was not busy. Will definitely be back!!

The best seafood I have been to that wasn’t in Maine. The clam chowder and lobster bisque was on point and the lobster rolls and lobster pie were incredible. Glad I was able to stop in and enjoy a slice of home.

Best Beach town food, vibe and service. We arrived for lunch at 11:45am. Seated inside immediately. Server greeted us shortly after. She asked for our drinks and then returned to take our order. Ordered a cup of New England clam chowder and manhattan clam chowder. Both were delicious and fresh. What you would expect from a place named chowderheads. We order main of Cobb salad with lobster meat. It was so huge. I proclaimed it a monster. Every element was fresh and delicious especially the lobster and chunky blue cheese. The other main was fish and chips with cod. My husband proclaimed the best fish and chips (cod) he’s ever had. I snagged a French fry and a bit which I can say I agree. Perfectly crisp and clean fried. Homemade feel. We will be back.

The place and environment was very welcoming and its was nice and cozy. As for the food, the clam chowder was very delicious, and I never tried clam chowder before. For dinner, I had the Clam Chowder Chili Dog which was amazing! The chili had plenty of meat in it and it was very flavorful. Our server, Holly, was so nice and kind, she brought our drinks right on the spot. She also was kind enough to answer my questions about the items on the menu. She was definitely one of the best waiters I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. Overall, an great place to enjoy some clam chowder, seafood, and a warm cozy environment.

Normally I don’t leave reviews but I had a wonderful experience at Chowder Heads. The food is fresh and delicious. Nick, you really made our experience here outstanding.

This is the goto place for Lobster Salad however you like it served. Great raw bar selection for New England shellfish, don't come looking for Washington St and such, just good ole Blue Points and Cherry Stones.
This is a Jupiter staple for fresh seafood.

I’m from Massachusetts and have had my share of lobster rolls. This has to be the best lobster roll I’ve have since moving to Florida.
This was the cold lobster roll with onion strings.

Christine & Holly were grade A service, the food was excellent, and my wife and I totally enjoyed our meal!

My first time. Won’t be my last time. The best clam chowder I’ve had in a long time. (And I probably order it anytime someone says there’s is the best)

The food was delicious as we had lobster rolls and clam chowder. Being from New Hampshire we know the difference between Maine lobster and other lobsters.
We also brought our miniature pinscher and they allowed us to sit outside and brought him a water bowl.
Christina was our server and she was phenomenal and very kind. We will definitely come back.

I love dining at Chowder Heads for its regular special offers that always introduce me to new flavors and culinary experiences. Just go. Outstanding food, service and ambience. Get the fried cod dinner with slaw and the cornbread with maple butter. The fried clams appetizer is a must. And split a lobster roll and clam chowder. Mmm, great meal reasonably priced.

I stopped in to get some Clam Chowder to go but the aroma was awesome, so I decided to look at the menu and have a glass of wine. The atmosphere was warm and cozy. I looked around at what others were eating and decided to dine in I ordered the Lobster Roll warm sautéed with butter and Sherry it was absolutely delicious (and when they say “Stuffed Lobster Roll”) it is truly stuffed, delicious and melted in my mouth. Well worth $35.00. There must have been 5-6 oz of lobster, more than some whole Maine or Florida lobsters, especially those from Maine with soft claws; also it came with 2 sides. I could only eat half and brought the other half and New England Clam Chowder home for the following evening dinner.
Kelly, my server was wonderful and even introduced me to the Chef since I raved so much about the Lobster Roll!
I plan on making it there more often.
Oh, btw I was alone was made to feel very comfortable and when I left (after dark) the staff made sure I got to my car safe. I Highly Recommend this Restaurant.!!!

Favorite restaurant in the Jupiter area! Love getting fresh oysters here and don’t sleep on the hot dog & chili dog. Always have great service when we go and pretty reasonably priced considering the quality of the seafood and the fact that you can get a 1.5 pound lobster here.

We drive for an hour to enjoy the BEST authentic New England food around South Florida. Lobstah rolls to die for. And, don't miss the gazpacho - it's a must have!

Better than expected. Being a Newport RI, I find most places in Florida trying to market New England seafood to not come close. Chowder heads got it spot on.

As expected Chowder Heads New England Clam Chowder was excellent. Great service and lots of northern decor. This fan favorite offers both indoor & outdoor seating too!

The clam shower and lobster roll was definitely worth the visit! Cozy restaurant and pet friendly.

Love this place!!! Most delicious lobster roll, and crab meat salad!! The decor is adorable and our waiter Nick was amazing!
