Mi Rancho Restaurant

My daughter finaly got me to go here. I'm glad she did, it was the first time for both of us. The second time, I went out for a date night with my husband and he was plesently surprised as I was.
The Atmospher is wonderful, the pictures, that I snaped don't do it justice.
The presentation of the food on point and packed full of flavor.
I had a frozen strawberry Magarita and an orginal flavared one. Their soppias desert was yummy The name of the dishes escape me, bacuse I'm not fluent in their language. Cant wait take the rest of my family here, next week.

The food was excellent, it appeared to be freshly prepared, and it was brought to our table quickly. Very grandly staff

My recent lunch at Mi Rancho Restaurant was a delightful experience, especially with their taco salad on the menu. The taco salad at Mi Rancho was a colorful and flavorful delight, with a generous portion of crisp lettuce topped with seasoned ground beef, juicy tomatoes, creamy avocado, crunchy tortilla strips, and tangy salsa. Each bite offered a perfect balance of textures and tastes, creating a refreshing and satisfying meal. The vibrant and festive ambiance of Mi Rancho, coupled with the friendly service, made for a wonderful dining experience. If you're in the mood for a delicious and hearty salad, Mi Rancho's taco salad is a must-try.

Service was excellent, great food, the only thing was the music, a Mexican restaurant they don't have any Mexican music, just salsa , and some others music has nothing to do with a culture from Mexico, any Rancheras, Mariachi music, I don't know why don't have a good Mexican music, that is crazy, who ever are in control of music he need to realize is a Mexican restaurant, not a Caribbean type, hope they change that style and topic. The rest are all good .

Updating a 5yo review after a fabulous lunch salad. I requested steak and jalapeño on their salad that has heart of palm, artichoke hearts, radish, cucumber and tomato and it’s really delicious. So glad they’re accommodating. Jalapeños were on the side but here’s a pic of the dish which went well with ranch dressing. Their ranch isn’t too rich and creamy but thin and runny and perfect in my opinion.

The service was great too. I’m glad I’d forgotten about my experience 5yrs ago and popped in.

I had a dinner plater w/2 enchiladas, 1 tamale & a taco w/side of beans & rice for apx $18. The pork tamale was dry & had very little filling, I ate at most 1/2 as it was uninviting. The enchiladas were good & the taco was fair. The service was excellent and the atmosphere pleasant. I like their light & crispy chips but not the salsa which almost brought marinara sauce to mind. My meal was good but I won't drop $18 again for what was actually enjoyable in my meal.

First place, I placed a go order which can always go really messed up if you order from anywhere else. I wanted something different other than Senioy Tequlias in Germantown which is less than a half a mile away. I am so glad that I tried Mi Rancho. The food was excellent!and after two margs at the bar and 1 & 1/2 mile later the food was so hot when I got home. The To-Go margarita lasted until I got home and boy was I ready 😉 when I got home (spouse approved wink wink). The protein, the tortillas, the freshness of the vegetables, everything would make you want to try this food even if you didn’t like guacamole or Tex-Amex. At the end of the day I can honestly review this place because I’m not of Spanish origin but I know good food when I taste it. The bartender you want to see is Sydney. She is the really the best, as I was walking up she was saying,” Goodnight” to what seemed as a regular. Cid was friendly and can make a mother bleeping drink.Ummmmmmmmmmkaayyy 😍 props to the chef and KM bc the food was so good tonight. My husband and I were pleased which says a lot bc he doesn’t play when it comes to his food.After seven years of years of living here, I am made for not trying them sooner.

It was a decision to go for late evening dinner and searching for a restaurant while many closed. However this place open till 10pm and accept order as well. Staff very professional and welcoming. We had nice Grilled Salman come with Glucomole, tortilla and other veggies. We all throughly enjoyed the food along with Friends visited from India.

Great Tex Mex. I wish the happy hour Nachos had either chicken or steak option and not just beans and cheese.

Mi Rancho is one of my favorite Tex Mex restaurants in the area! A great selection of good food, the margaritas are about perfect, and the service is excellent!

Very good American styled Mexican food. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the service is great. We have been coming here off and on for 18+ years and still see many of the same faces. That makes for a very pleasant family run feeling as well. The food is consistently quite good they do not over salt like many restaurants in our area.

Update 02-03-24: We went there last night and had a wonderful time. Again so many of the same faces which really helps make a restaurant feel comfortable. The food is still really delicious and although the prices have gone up they haven't gone up so badly that we don't want to go again. There was a large group of people in the restaurant and the staff was treating them very much like family. It was actually fun to watch as they interacted with the young child whose birthday it appeared to be. Still one of the best restaurants in Germantown.

First time at Mi Ranchos and I Love It! Good, clean food, with a made to order freshness. My family and I really liked the friendly staff and Tex-Mex ambiance. Definitely worth a visit!!

It has been a while since I’ve eaten here but my husband and I decided to give it a shot yesterday. The service was great, seated right away with our drinks taken immediately. The server kept replacing the chips and salsa (which is a plus for me). Our drinks and food didn’t take long either. We had a pleasant dinner and have decided that MiRancho will be our go to Mexican restaurant.

Food great, service great, atmosphere great. It had been almost 20 years since i came here. My favorite, the Mariscada

We've been coming here for many years. For a number of reasons we hadn't been in the past few years and just returned and find the food as good as ever. The group I was with had chicken fajitas, Laredo platter, fish tacos, and chicken enchiladas. There were no complaints at all everybody was happy. I go to a couple of Mexican places at Rio in Gaithersburg, but found the fajitas here we're just a cut above both the tenderness of the chicken and the soft tortilla.

Good Mexican food; had take out.

We used to go to Mi Rancho in Rockville all the time before it closed down. We were happy to learn of this location. I was willing to pickup take-out from this location primarily because it's one of the few places that grills their fish tacos instead of deep frying breaded fish. I had a pretty good burrito and the kids enjoyed the quesadillas. The cheese sauce we ordered was pretty small, so I don't think we'll order that again.

Overall, we will go back to this restaurant when in the mood for Mexican food.

This is one of our favorite Mexican restaurants close to where we live. Food has been consistently good and the service always hospitable. Our favorite is the Plato Grande with ribs thay are surprisingly good and grilled shrimp that is tasty. Can't go wrong with the fajitas as well. We will definitely keep coming back!

First time tonight. We got carry out. Everything was great. The steak/chicken was cooked perfectly with great flavor. Deliciously grilled. We will be going back asap.
