Shrimp Basket

Shrimp Basket is a great place to have seafood in a very relaxed setting. I prefer a more informal and rustic atmosphere. Service was fast and friendly. Menu was what you would expect. I ordered the fried seafood platter. All of it was fresh. Batter was not “wet” with oil, the way I like it. My only complaint, would be the green beans were soggy, but not a big deal. Tarter and cocktail sauces were excellent.

Tuesday is half off oysters. So glad we stopped by. My son got his oyster fix and the rest of the food is awesome. Love it here will definitely recommend and come back. Different food selections for the whole family. I can go into detail but this place is a must try. Our waitress is awesome and made our first visit here so memorable. Caitlyn is our wonderful waitress.

2nd visit update. I've noticed the water has a taste to it I don't like at all. It had that faucet water taste. Food was great loved it. Had family visit from out of town so we had to take them here for some lunch.

My cousin recommended the Shrimp Basket so we thought we'd try it. Tuesday is their all you can eat shrimp. The evening we were there, they had an electrical problem but the manager communicated with us, made sure it wasn't a problem and went the extra mile to make sure we were still happy. As long as the steamers worked for the shrimp we didn't care. It took a longer time to get started but once the food arrived, the refills kept coming. Very personal service, comfortable atmosphere and some unique menu items. We are inside and glad we are as a great blue heron tried dining with the patrons on the porch. The staff was quick to move it along. I highly recommend it, I hope to return again this week.

Loved the food! We shared a large meal. They were out of posters so they gave us fried okra instead and forgot the fries. We were fine with our meal by the time we got the fries. The $5 drinks were great!!

Today my fiancé and I had a craving for fried shrimp and we were overjoyed after experiencing the Shrimp Basket. We just got off the water from fishing all day out at Johnson Beach and this was a fantastic night cap. Kelly and Brandon made it a very special experience for us, very personable and lovely.

Only have the after photo, we cleaned the plates faster than drinking our beers!

Food was delicious, our server was amazing wish I could remember her name but she was working Friday afternoon and was very patient and friendly with our kiddos. Best service we’ve had in a while. We will definitely visit again if we come back to the area.

Small, comfortable, beachside restaurant. Food was great, service was perfect. Ashley did an awesome job. There when needed but not hovering. I've been a waitress it's a hard balance. We were close to the small bar and kitchen, which I normally don't care for but the interaction of staff and professionalism was enjoyable to watch.

Every time we visit Perdido, we always tell ourselves we want to try somewhere new. Eventually we always come back here because it's always good. We have been eating here for over 10 years. We love it. The service is fantastic. Both the dining and the patio are nice. One of our favorites.

Erica was fabulous!! She was helpful with the menu, speedy with the food and charming! We also let her know we were out of town and she gave us some excellent recommendations. Our food was super tasty. Of course we had shrimp and a burger. Both were delicious. Thanks for a perfect set up to a great day !!

The food was DELICIOUS! crab boil, seafood basket, coconut shrimp - all so yummy. Their high puppies were even delicious! The cocktail and tarter sauces were homemade. Everything was so yummy. Loved sitting outside in the front porch area. Service was wonderful, Kelley was very kind & helpful and she kept the sweet tea flowing!

I came in for raw oysters 🦪 but… that didn’t happen as the day was too hot… nevertheless, whatever we ordered we thoroughly enjoyed, I ended up getting the redfish with rice and it was really good. Our server was super polite and great!

Angelina provided us with the best service last week and was so friendly and prompt. She made sure our food was fresh and enjoyable. I even asked when she works so we can came back and request her!

The shrimp was nearly the best I've ever had, especially the grilled cajun shrimp. All of the sides were delicious, and the food was very hot and fresh. Despite it being nearly 100° outside, the inside of the building was nice and cool. There were ocean and beach themed decorations. Our waitress (Hailey I believe) did an amazing job of checking up on us, and was very helpful when we had questions. You coult tell she knew what she was doing, and she was very kind while serving.We are extremely satisfied with our food and service; I recommend this Shrimp Basket to anyone looking for seafood in the area.

We dined at this location on March 10th for dinner. Some of us had been there before and some of us it was their first time. Our waitress was Lauren V and she was amazing. Friendly, helpful with menu questions and helpful with making an entree selection. The manager also stopped by our table and he was also great. Two ordered the all you can eat fish which was really good. I ordered the Cajun pasta and that great and someone else ordered wings which was also good. I was very impressed with the customer service and the food was excellent. I will definitely return and would recommend this location to others.

First off, I have to rave about our server Angelina. She was fantastic! So sweet, so helpful, and did a awesome job the entirety of our meal. We stopped by on our last night before heading home from Spring Break with our three kids. The food was delicious. We went around five, and it wasn't busy quite yet, but it did fill up pretty quickly not long after. Would highly recommend!

I’m on vacation we stopped in for a late evening dinner. Our waitress Angelina was awesome!! Very helpful with the different meals to choose from & her service was exceptional! I’ve worked in the service industry all my life 40 yrs + and I’m leaving this Shrimp Basket Fat Sassy & Full… thank you Angelina for a wonderful evening

The shrimp basket was fantastic. The food was fresh, warm amazing. Kelly our server went above and beyond for us to make sure we were taken care of! We will be back!

There were a couple of times for Tuesday and Thursday oysters special. Excellent service. The staff is very friendly. Manager AZ was very nice and gave us some advice on the local area. Brought home some of the shrimp hot sauce!!

We had Courtney who I believe it was her first day, we never would have known. Courtney was personable, friendly, attentive and made our visit feel like home. If it was indeed her first day, you've hired an absolute peach! We will be back and will ask for her! Great job!

Catelyn, our server, did an amazing job taking care of our family tonight. We were hungry coming from a dolphin cruise, and she made sure to be attentive. She answered questions, made recommendations and was super friendly. We enjoyed talking with her. She tolerated our teenagers eating all you can eat fish and served them with a smile. The assistant manager, Agee, was also extremely accommodating and checked in with our family often. We had a wonderful experience for dinner tonight. We will definitely be back!
