North Shore Inn at Lake Mead

This was an amazing experience for my whole family. We ended up there late at night, but the owners helped us out anyway. They were so kind! The rooms were clean and it was easy to sleep there, especially with the help of the air conditioner. The morning breakfast was really helpful, as well as excellently made, with plenty of variety. We weren’t able to use the pool, but that was because of our own timeframe. It's somewhat close to Las Vegas, so relatively convinient if you are in the area late. There were several interesting things in the area, including the Lost City museum (I recommend that too). All in all, I would certainly stay here again!

A lovely hotel. Not like a chain product. But every aspect is almost perfect. The quality control is very high. The lady at the front desk was joking some lovely decorations in the lobby are "cheap stuff". But I do not agree. I just saw the owner care about the hotel and treat guests like family.

Last minute stay for us and it was exactly what we needed. Super cozy and honestly nicer than we expected :) like most reviews, we think the furniture could use a little bit more love but the bed was very nice. Breakfast was good and welcoming customer service. We would definitely stay here again!

Staff was friendly , accomodations good, room clean. There was a slow draining bath tub , reported same to front desk and this was fixed by noon. Good breakfast.
Coffee might be improved.

We had a suite (super reasonable) that was clean and functional. The breakfast was excellent and the service staff were helpful and friendly. We will be back.

room is big clean comfortable for family. we drive from Vegas take kids to moapa valley corn maze n stay a night here after late evening activity. we checked in late but get a nice warm friendly welcome. with this price, room size n all you need for a clean comfortable overnight, we are highly satisfied.

There are not many options for hotels so you want to book early. It is close to the Valley of Fire and only took us 30 minutes to drive there. We weren’t sure what to expect with this hotel but were very happy about our stay. This is an older hotel but it was kept clean and the customer service was really great, especially the manager, she was a very hard worker and helpful in every way. Every night we spent time at the pool and hot tub and loved the set up. They let us use the conference room for gathering, eating, and playing games with our big group. The continental breakfast included lots of options: breads/bagels/pastries/tortillas, scrabbled eggs, sausage, salsa, syrups, pancakes, waffles, cereals, fruit, juices, milk, coffee, etc. which was a big plus for our family. The rooms have fridges and microwaves which was helpful since we took our lunches into the park each day. We highly recommend North Shore Inn and we will definitely stay there again.

We decided to make a last minute trip to Vegas and needed a place immediately! This hotel is great for its price and had everything we needed and more. It exceeded our expectations. The staff was welcoming and kind. It’s in a good area and quiet. If you have the time to use the pool and hot tub, go for it! The food was great too. A great hotel for the price! :)

Great little outta the way location the rooms are clean the beds are comfortable and they have a continental breakfast

Older style but clean rooms and the staff are wonderful! My husband forgot his watch in the room and they mailed it to us quickly, so kind! Plus the the continental breakfast is quite nice along with the location near valley of fire. Grateful for the stay :)

The rooms were noisy and outdated. Also I specifically asked about the pool and hot tub and the person at the front desk assured me there was a heated hot tub. Well they lied just get get me to book. And when I brought it to there attention nothing was done.

The inn Itself and the staff are amazing. The continental breakfast was great quality and great! Rooms clean and nice. Only complaint was it looked like the doors to the bathroom in our room got into a fight. Some door damage was very noticeable.

It was a nice quiet place to stay. Swimming pool and hot tub. Plenty of parking. The continental breakfast was pretty good. Everyone was polite and friendly. Nice restaurant right across the street and easy to get into the parking lot and back on the highway.

Okay, there is really only one place in town so you might expect that these folks would not try so hard. Oh, but you would be so wrong. This was a very enjoyable two night stay, with clean quiet rooms and excellent service. The staff was friendly, from the ladies on the front desk to the cleaning and breakfast crew, everyone was attentive and responsive. Our room was nice sized and everthing (almost) worked. We did notice that the toilet bowl takes a while to fill (that, I am sure, is a result of the ongoing drought conditions and the design of the tank) but that is merely something to be aware of. The tub faucet did drip a bit, due I am sure to the salts in the water so just be tolerant if you find that situation...we did get it to stop by working the valve a little. The towels and sheets were clean and the room, as well as the enitre motel, was tidy and clean. We are making plans for a larger party for next year and we will certainly look forward to coming back to the North Shore Inn!

Best night of sleep I had this trip. Near the valley of fire State Park...a must see if you are in the area. The breakfast was good and the whole area is well kept. highly recommend.

This is a nice simple hotel. Rooms are clean. Staff is friendly. Nice location if you're visiting Valley of Fire State Park or exploring Moapa Valley. They offer a simple breakfast bar 7-9am. There's a small swimming pool & hot tub. Recommended.

We had such a wonderful experience here. They are using every covid protocol. Everyone was so nice. The room was clean smelled good and was very comfortable. There is no elevator, but that wasn't a issue for us. The pool and hot tub looked inviting, but we didn't bring swim suits this trip.

Everything about this place is fantastic. I stayed 3 nights the whole place inside and out is so clean, The staff was truly friendly and obviously care about what they are doing. I have a child on the autism spectrum, I am as well. We had a couple hard times with some meltdowns and just being alive. They moved quick and proper to get us in and around they did not make me feel like we should not be there that is usually what happens everywhere especially hotels. When the person at the front desk saw what I was going through and needed a new key at night . He spoke soft and kind it really made me feel better it was an awful situation. They all knew we were far from home and I truly felt welcome and comfort. Not fake. That is very important. It was not sales, I felt like we were in there home being looked after.
