Some of my friends work at the PO. The thing is, I MADE friends with them at the post office. To say these people are friendly and helpful is an understatement.

I'm always happy to go see everyone there and collect my packages.

I've lived in the Whitney area my whole life and the service at the local post office used to be good, just like at most post offices. But in the last several years the Whitney post office has gone to s**t. I'm not sure who is running it now but I do know, they shouldn't be. They are consistently late , lost or don't care, and everyone of them at the counter seems to have a bad attitude, like they just don't want to be there.

5 stars simply because as a kid I hung out here because the door was always unlocked. It kept me warm when I would run away from the abuse at my home.

Always helpful and professional. And a big smile. Like they really enjoy their job.

They are wonderful staff and a pleasure to deal with, southern hospitality at its best. Nothing is a problem.

Great service at the office. The only issue is the delivery person would not put the packages in the Parcel Box I had installed. They would put them on the ground IN FRONT OF THE GATE OR THE PARCEL BOX. They could have easily put them over the 4' gate or IN THE PARCEL BOX ONLY 4' FROM THE GATE so that thieves would not get them!!!

I have had mail delivered to the wrong address multiple times now. How do you deliver mail my with my name on it to the correct address and in the same day deliver mail to the wrong address with the EXACT SAME ADDRESS on it! I have set up where I receive emails confirming where and when my package has been delivered and they still continue to do this! Also they input delivery times before packages have even been delivered and I have had that happen numerous times. UUUggghhhh what can we do about this?! Obviously there have been numerous complaints! Now I'm waiting on hold for over an hour to speak with someone about it, NOT HAPPY! PS: I am not the type to write bad reviews, but this is ridiculous!

UPDATE: They came and apologized for the inconvenience and it was NOT delivered to another residence, it was just misplaced....Thanks for the apology and delivery the next day!! I will give better review for corrections ;)

They have made improvements but sometimes you still have to wait because they only have 1 register open.

I am very upset. I have a package that was scheduled to be delivered today, December 14, 2013 and the tracking number says it was sent out to be delivered today at 9:05 AM and here it is 8 PM and still no mail delivery. I called the office twice and was told it would be delivered today but They were running late. The last call was at 6 PM. Now this is ridiculous. I would like to know where my mail is.

Office staff gal was so sweet. It’s the delivery of our mail that sucks. Sometimes you receive it and other times it’s considered undeliverable! Go figure!!

Horrible delivery service. I get a check delivered to me every month and it gets put in the wrong mailbox
Driver's need to know the address before dropping off the mail. This is the same for packages. Every package gets delivered to the wrong address and there have been some I never received. Pay attention driver's.

The other day I went to pick up my mail and had a yellow slip in there for a package. I noticed the package wasn't mine and gave it back and I watched the lady stick it under the counter. Then a few days later my daughter went in and they told her they gave me the wrong package and to bring it back. Well how exactly do you bring back something you already returned? This isn't the first time either. I gave them a Pkg to be returned to at&t and the lady once again stuck it under the counter. It took at&t over 25 days to get my package and I was almost charged $700 for a phone. Numerous times I get other people's mail and always stick it in that mis mailbox. Makes me wonder how much of my mail I don't receive or gets lost.

Bad service at window Mail delivery is iffy and the drivers speed up and down dirt and all roads after many repeated requests to slow down for Dur and safety reasons. Just ignored
And the Most master and ibis lady don’t do Anything

Valinda was so rude to the older lady in front of us that I was embarrassed. The lady didn't have any small bills and Valinda scolded her for having to make change. The lady spent $35, seems like this nasty cashier would be thankful that people still use the post office and pay her excessive salary even though I think Valinda needs to seek employment in a morgue where she won't come in contact with living people.
