I think most of the customers order pizza here, but they have sandwiches and salads, too. They have really interesting beverages. The decor is very unique, and definitely one of the highlights of the restaurant—that includes the restroom, too. Service is very polite and prompt.

I am still on cloud nine after indulging in the most extraordinary meal I've had in quite some time. Catalpa combines an unparalleled intimate setting with the most superbly delectable dinner you will find in Arrow Rock, perhaps even in all of Missouri! Along with the cuisine reaching well beyond five stars, the hospitality and service are equally as exquisite. Seriously, I have never had a filet melt in my mouth like that, so fantastically tender and delicious. EVERYTHING was delicious -- the salads, the rolls, the sangria, the frozen custard -- my mouth is salivating once again! And I couldn't leave without purchasing a few bottles of their Small Batch House Vinaigrette -- spectacular flavor! On your next visit to Arrow Rock, it is imperative that you make a reservation at Catalpa for an incredibly euphoric dining experience. My compliments to the remarkably talented Chef Liz and her incomparable staff! I shall return!

First time to the new location . No grilled sandwiches today ?Tried a pizza and salad . Both were great . Nice closed -in patio ,inside seating & a few tables out front .Lots of alcohol drinks to choose from . Service was excellent . Well worth the 45 min. drive from Columbia !

I was not fortunate to hear about this place or try this place prior to COVID. Due to COVID making us get some cabin fever we have been branching out to visit new places. Boy am I stoked we tried here. The service was nice. The location is cute and the food is AMAZING. Yeah they are burgers made out of beef, turkey, chicken or fish. But they process a whole cow to make their burgers! Who does that?! And the buns are OUT OF THIS WORLD. Worth a drive to sit outside and enjoy nature. The one positive COVID has taught me. There is life outdoors and away from the big cities.

High-end food and fantastic service. My friend and I had the loaded fries and The Chef LIZ Pizza. Food was great and restaurant looks nice.

What a treat! I had the Chicken Teriyaki pizza and my sister had the Meat pizza. My sister-in-law enjoyed the pizza garlic bread. All of it was delicious! Great service. Fun place!

I loved it!!! Everytime my husband and I go to Arrow Rock we make sure to go there, we have a good time.. I love the customer service.. The pizza is delicious.. the owner is super nice and always gives my toddler little figurines.. I love the place and what can I say I love the pizza machine that is located in Marshall.. very nice place.. if I could rate it with 10 stars I would!!!!

Everyone in our party of 16 absolutely raved about the delicious food. We ordered salads, pizzas and yummy sandwiches. My friend intended to take 1/2 of her chicken sandwich home, but couldn't stop eating. Really enjoyed eating in the sunroom. Liz, you and your crew nailed it, once again!!! Went there because the place we were headed was closed. Lucky for us. Food was great. Friendly staff and the handled the extra 10 tables that came in because the place across the street wasn’t open with speed, efficiency and over all good hospitality.

We stopped in here while on a road trip and we are glad we did! Unique decor and of course... a gold toilet! The star here was the simple order of cheese sticks we ordered. Piping hot, cheesy, and great flavor. The garlic dip...I could literally drink, it's so good! Everyone was polite! My only complaint is that I'm hours away😊

Our first time here. Food is PHENOMENAL and historic Arrow Rock is very interesting. We've been to Arrow Rock several times in the past. Camping, the Lyceum theater. Fascinating place to visit. We'd never tried Catalpa though. Food was great, love the atmosphere. Makes for an excellent day trip. Going back in a few days for lunch on our way to a car show near KC. Can't wait to try more of the menu. Best meal I've had in quite a while. Get a shake for sure. With or without alcohol. The Pink Squirrel is very good. The white pizzas are good and the salads are awesome. We highly recommend this place.

I have never had a finer meal in my life. The Chef's Table is dinner and an amazing show. I doubt here is a better dining experience within a hundred miles.

FANTASTIC gluten-free pizza! Cooked perfectly with delicious ingredients. I can’t wait to come back!

We were camping at Arrow Rock State Historic Site and stopped in at Catalpa to get something to go. We got the “meat” pizza, and it was delicious…loaded with toppings. I wish now that we had stayed for drinks and dessert. Excellent food and excellent service. We will be back!

I have always wanted to eat here. Finally my daughter and I got the chance.It is a quaint little place with awesome food! We had a Chicken T Pizza and a salad with vinegrett dressing. Everything has a special flavor and everything is homemade! I only wish I had this place close to where I live. If you ever come to Arrow Rock do not miss it. It is right in the middle of all the small shops. As the wait staffs shirts say...they do have a gold bathroom.!

Fantastic! Great food great people. I am lactose intolerant and don't ever get to have ice cream but when they said they make dairy free milkshakes I gave it a shot and the milk shake was delicious! Make sure you eat here next time you are in arrow rock.

Awesome spot! The Hemme was the best pizza we’d had in years! WOW, better than anything in KC. Super nice staff, dog friendly for sure with outside seating. Beautiful place welcoming to all-farmers, artists, artistic farmers, etc.
