Fuqua's Southern Soul Food in Hartsel Al, truly took me back to my grandmother's kitchen. The flavors were delicious, accompanied by great service, and an all you can eat buffet had me felling satisfied and grateful. I will definitely be going back. GREAT DINING EXPERIENCE!

Wow! Love this place! Found in a shopping plaza in rogersville and if you enjoy Southern home cooking this is the place, I still can't pronounce their name but the buffet food is outstanding, everything home made the way it should be! Be sure to save room for dessert because plenty to choose from husband swears they have the very best peach cobbler, I love the banana pudding, the strawberry cake and lemon cake was wonderful too! Be sure to give them a try, you won't be disappointed!!! 🥰🥰

Wow!! Best soul I’ve ever eaten. Excellent fried chicken, fresh salad bar and great mashed potatoes. Homemade pies and cakes included with buffet.

Looking this place has the absolute best fried pork chops, period. Southern fried pork chops. I drove from the most middle of Tennessee to get these pork chops. Sad to say, I arrived to country fried steaks or cubed steak and gravy fried Chicken and meat loaf to which was great too but, they were yesterday. This next part speaks to the staff off this place. When I entered it is as I have always noticed. I did bring my FIL with me. So it was as I told him the gentleman said as always “Come on in! I hope y’all are hungry!!”. But once I was finished I went to pay and told them how I’m saddened that I missed those pork chops. The host asked me if I wanted her to fry some….what!?. I at first told her no. I don’t want them to work just for my request but she insisted. 5 minutes later. She brought me some fried pork chops. The service was absolute awesome. The food, chef’s kiss. Go here please all will enjoy.

Food like my mom and grandmothers cooked and a really nice family who run the place makes it a favorite. The friend chicken, spaghetti and peach cobbler (ask for ice cream for it) are highlights.

The food here is amazing! The fried chicken ranks in the top 5 best I’ve ever had! The workers where so friendly and nice and they had a excellent health rating! I will be back!!

It was a little busy, but to be expected considering it just
opened a week now. The food was delicious, the Mac in cheese, fried chicken, and mash potatoes was really good. Hat's off to the peach cobbler. I will definitely be back. Congratulations! Lawrence, it does my heart good to see a young business owner succeeding.

Old school buffet. If you're afraid of people, it's not your place. I love it.

We came in with a large group for dinner and we had great service. The food was delicious and they even made a special batch of fried pork chops for us. Would recommend highly to visit!

Really good southern home cooking with a splash of soul. All-you-can-eat, All-you-can-eat, All-you-can-eat!! Plenty of choices to fill you up and several dessert choices to complete your meal. Will be back! Maybe, when the Duke's of Hazard come! 😁

I come to Rogersville every few months to see family and always come here. They have really grown and have reliable quality. Lots of options for vegetables. Best banana pudding ever!!!

I do not write reviews on places usually this place is the exception to the rule. Fuqua's Soul food brought back so many memories of how restaurant's use to cook from scratch all fresh from when I was a kid. This was the most wonderful meal out in a very long time. Loved it and will be eating there often.

New to the area have tried several places that were ok for steaks. Have been back here 3 times now. This place has excellent steaks cooked to your perfection and the service has been exceptional. Had lunch today we ate off the buffet had fresh fried pork chops ,chicken , ham, smothered chicken and all the side. Im a big potato person and the mashed potatoes were excellent. All in all if in the area you should make this a stop to eat. COVID guidelines were followed.

The food is great! The fried chicken has such great seasoning, the ribeye was cooked perfectly and was super tender, the staff is super friendly and treats you like family, and the prices are very reasonable! Will definitely be back!
