It's been fun watching this place grow! I've been following these guys since they were at Texas A&M and while it's a little far from us in Dallas, it's WORTH THE DRIVE! They have an awesome selection of native plants and both Daniel and Clint know their stuff! They just added a huge retail space with tons of treasures! We came back to see the pumpkin patch and can't wait till they get trees for Christmas! Five stars all around!

It's true! This nursery has all kinds of hard to find native Texan plants, trees and shrubs. Daniel from Rooted In was very helpful and knowledgeable. Friendly staff!

My husband was able to buy a Shanxi Li Jujube, which is pretty much out of stock everywhere.
Herbs were a steal at $1 each and tomatoes at $1.50 today.

The thoughtfully designed cottage store sells potteries, garden tools and all kinds of gardening knickknacks.

It's worth the 2 hour drive from home but we plan to visit again soon!

I love this place! An inspirational atmosphere with friendly knowledgeable ownership. Rooted In plants are native to Texas and are thriving and healthy with butterflies and bees seen all around the plants, a great sign! I feel confident about my ability to grow the selections and the website and emails give additional growing tips for my plants and my area. I am so happy to welcome this business to Pilot Point. I compared prices with the big box garden centers and found the prices were lower and the plants in much better condition at Rooted In. So many gift ideas to be found inside the beautiful farm house and pumpkins in the barn. Photography and selfie opportunities everywhere. I am looking forward to every season success in my landscape and this business. Thank you Rooted In!

Rooted In is our "go to" native plant store and we can't say enough about their healthy plant selection and amazing customer service.
We've used their services to redesign and expand our front yard landscaping. We had to install a front yard sitting area so that we can watch and enjoy all of the new pollinators attracted to our garden. I've received so many compliments on it; a neighbor even gave us a painting of the garden because they loved it so much. Whenever I had follow up questions, the folks at Rooted In were always gracious and offered their expertise.
We love their selection of pots and moss art as well as their informational workshops. I had no idea where to start about getting/operating a rain barrel. After taking Rooted In's workshop and purchasing a barrel through them, we have been watering our potted plants with rainwater issue free.

Very friendly staff and beautiful facility. We came here to pick up a few native plants for our property. We found a quality selection to fit the bill.

If you live close to Rooted In, count yourself fortunate to have easy access to some of the most hardy, interesting, drought-tolerant native plants. The type of plants that are quick to get established and thrive despite our crazy heat and occasional ice storms.

I live near Natural Gardener in Austin, but prefer getting my plants from Rooted In. They have more true natives in stock, plus so many lovely unique gifts for your loved ones.

If you're looking for plants here is North Texas that will work in your soil, not die with the first yearly freeze (by this I mean, it will pop back to life in the spring), and just look better and flourish, look no further than Rooted In.

My wife and I are firm believers that using the correct plants in the correct biomes is key, and unlike Los Angeles where they forced palm 🌴 trees to grow in a desert 🏜. Don't follow in those footsteps!

Go here. You will love it and you won't go anywhere else. They know their stuff and they will help you get your landscaping in tip-top shape.

This trio of native gardeners are really "Rooted In"!! No one is more educated or helpful with your native plant selections. No big box store plants at this nursery. Only tough natives that grow well here.

I have a lovely experience every time I visit Rooted In - well worth the drive from anywhere in DFW for native plants or ones that work well in North Texas. Yesterday, even in the late afternoon summer Texas heat, Clint and Daniel took their time to talk through each plant and make suggestions for what to plant and where. Go support this amazing small business with a good mission.

Their grow boxes in the spring and fall are a must - watch out for them and order in advance. They are an amazing deal, come with design plans, and and the plants are perfect for North Texas.

I knew this would be quite the drive for me but I decided to go check it out anyway. And I will definitely be back! The plants that they have are well taken care of. I also love that they specialize in plants that are native in our area (the selection was beautiful so I actually bought more than I planned on buying to expand my perennial garden 🤣) The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I can’t wait to see how this land transforms with their new beautiful storefront going up.

Even if it is a little bit of a drive, just enjoy the pretty scenery on the way 💖

Can not say enough great things about this place. Great for hard to find plants. Everyone is very knowledgeable and helpful. The indoor part is filled with amazing boutique quality stuff, like large gorgeous baskets. Outdoors is not just plants but huge unique planters as well. I went in February so many of the plants were still dormant so wait a little bit longer if you prefer to see plants at their peak. Thank you so much we really enjoyed our visit.

There is no better garden center anywhere. The dedication the Rooted In team has to native plant education is unparalleled. I’ve been there multiple times and every time they will answer a million questions about what to plant, when to plant, how to plant, and they do it all with a smile and a feeling that they genuinely care. I often bring friends just to show how cool the place is and everyone loves the experience and we all come away with better knowledge on how to be better stewards of our land. I can’t wait to see the completion of their new buildings!

I've been fans of the owners for awhile now from what they share on social media and their weekend news garden segment. I'm so glad they have a wonderful nursery where I can buy my plants that are not only beautiful but meant for this part of North Texas. 😍

The staff at the nursery were very friendly and helped me pick out the best plants for my garden. This is the best service I've received at a nursery and highly recommend everyone go visit. 💯

They also offer design services that I cannot wait to use! 😁

Rooted In has a great selection of native plants. We have been looking for a specific sage, Cimarron Texas Sage. They had a great supply that were very healthy and already flowering. They also had several other native cultivars that have been on my wish list. I have been watching Daniel and his team for a very long time. I am so glad that they have opened this nursery. I will gladly drive the 2 hours to come and get plants!

Amazing place! I have purchased plant boxes and have heard Daniel speak at several events. Decided last weekend to make the hour drive to visit. Wonderful place! I found every native plant on my list (and then some) and Daniel was super helpful. Once I get all of my purchases planted, I’ll be back!! 💕

We discovered this place when we received an email marketing...and decided to check it out. 100% amazing. We got fruit trees and a bunch of rosemary and sage for my garden. The plants are amazing....but the best part is the fella that helps out up there. He gives amazing insight and is able to answer all your questions. Personable and a pleasure to shop and be around. 100% recommend! They have workshops and other fun tidbits...so go check them out!

I always enjoy my trips out to Rooted In. The drive out to their location is relaxing, and it is wonderful to receive such awesome customer service once you arrive. If you are looking for native TX plants, or you need questions answered by experienced and knowledgeable horticulturalists, this is the place to go.

Window shopping for those hard to find plants is fun there. My last trip, found a Turk's Cap with a white bloom. While they do have the large size pots that folks want to use for their landscaping, I really enjoy the huge variety of 1 gal (and smaller) plants that anyone can afford.
