I was told by the server that the corned beef hash was the best in Maine. And she was right! Best I've had! (The potato part of the hash is under the beef.) Excellent all around meal, with over-medium eggs that were perfectly cooked and a good cup of coffee. Plus, it's nice to be in New England where rye toast is always on the menu!

Such a great place for breakfast! Two days in a row they served really hot and fresh meals. The french toast on day one and the corned beef hash on day two. By far the absolute best corned beef hash I've EVER had and I've had plenty. The staff was beyond friendly and the wait for food was more than reasonable all at a very affordable price.

Found this great breakfast, lunch and bakery spot and both our meal choices were tasty. Can't speak highly enough about the service here - these amazing women made this stop a treat for us! Highly recommend!

We brought our grandson here because I had read a recent article about Searsport in Down East magazine, and we are staying not far away. We had THE MOST DELICIOUS breakfast for lunch EVER, and we consider ourselves breakfast connoisseurs (or maybe we just love breakfast out). Everything was fresh and delicious, and I loved having the choice of fruit (artfully arranged) over potatoes without an extra charge. The service was prompt, helpful, courteous, and friendly. We're already planning our next trip up the coast to include breakfast with you again!

Wow what a gem this place is! The staff is exceptional-and the food is homemade, DELICIOUS, and artfully arranged every time! We have tried the breakfast sandwiches, scones, bagels, biscuits & gravy, and omelettes and have loved everything we have tried. We will continue coming here. Cozy and warm, and with outstanding food! My husband says, "best breakfast sandwich in Maine". The ambience is nice too...very hip but not so hip as to distract from the local atmosphere and beauty.

It's been too long since we were last here! We headed over this rainy morning for another great breakfast! Our first visit to the new location, fantastic! Homemade corned beef hash, cranberry toast, eggs, bacon and anadama toast all excellent. Great staff, and excellent atmosphere! Well worth the 40 minute drive.

All local food and preparation was outstanding! Excellent food and excellent service!

Got there close to closing time but the staff were friendly and accommodating! I want to get there earlier next time to try the food in the cafe.

The best breakfast I've ever had. Red potatoes smash melts in your mouth yet with a delicious crisp and flavor, the eggs are scrumptious, bread delicious and made from a local bakery, Homemade muffins scones and biscuits on the premises, bacon mmm mmm good, blueberry pancake loaded with blues, dark roast coffee smooth and rich in flavor, cheerful waitress Sam 🙎‍♀

Ok...so it's not often there's an enthusiastic 2 thumbs up for a cafe.....but if you are near this place and you're hungry you should stop and have food and coffee here....the service by Lulu and the other staff was great...the food was terrific as well ....

Great food, great service. They seem like they truly appreciate your business. That is very important to me, and my wife. Looking forward to them re-opening next year!

Like many, we stumbled upon Coastal while traveling up to Bar Harbor but were pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere, service and food. Strong coffee, free wifi and saucer-thin cinnamon buns slathered in icing. "True Love" was delicious, best blueberry pancake I've had in years! If you need a break during a long trek and crave a real maine breakfast this is the spot. Quick, friendly and scrumptious.

This small, well run, delicious bakery and restaurant is the place the place to stop on the way to Bar Harbor. We stopped on the day they were closing, because of road construction. Any traveler who likes good food, good atmosphere, and a stop that has great kids’ books for diverting children and adults, should not miss this one.

WE'RE from Illinois and this is the first time here BUT NOT THE LAST .The place was simply amazing. The food was beyond greatly priced especially for the portions you get for the price 100 percent blown away with the amount of food we received , Definitely get your bang for the buck at this place which was also awesome for us cause we have a family of 7 to feed. All our kids except one finished they're plates and were in food coma's lol .. I highly recommend this place and will be back on next family vacation or any trip we make to Maine . If your looking for a home away from home feel and great staff and amazing food etc this is it. Please keep this place in mind. ITS WORTH THE DRIVE ITS WORTH THE PRICE AND IS A BEAUTIFUL BUILDING. Also was greeted by owner and his wife and they are also amazing people with an adorable 1 month old . Best food we've had hands down .

You don't want to miss this gem! Food is absolutely amazing, staff are pleasant and a cozy place. Locally sourced foods. A great find, so much for us we stopped a second time on our return journey. Great again!

We've been in many times for breakfast, and the food is consistently great. Perfectly cooked eggs & omelettes, and the best smash potatoes we've ever had (very addictive!). Wonderful, kind and attentive service. Very glad to be local so we can keep going back.

Clean bright space; a great place to start one's morning, or end one's day!

We stopped in for a delicious breakfast this morning and were so happy we came across this place! The space was cute and cozy, the menu had a great variety of coffee and breakfast choices, and the servers were so friendly. The fresh baked bread and bagels were so good that we also had to try some pasties for the road - which were just as delicious! We were especially impressed with how the staff juggled both to-go orders and dine-in customers - it was a busy morning and yet the service was fast and friendly!

We got sandwiches to go and walked one block down to the shore of the bay at Mosman park. Fresh local ingredients and a beautiful view. Great picnic. The breakfasts are delicious too, we have been here many times.

Great service, delicious food, quaint little cafe. I loved their drink selection with alternative milk options.

What a lovely shop!

Sociable and kind employees, relaxing atmosphere, and delicious food and beverages at a really good price. The entire cafe felt very clean and the employees had a lot of communication.
