Captain Griffith was very friendly. We had a blast! We didn’t have to worry about anything but catching the fish, which we did a lot of! We caught a variety of species in several different locations making it a highly memorable experience for our family! We plan on using Griffith Guide Service on our next trip to St. George Island!

If you want a great Professional Guide this is your man. Puts you on the fish and knows how to catch them. Coble is very courteous, knowledgeable, patient, and pleasant. Can't get any better than this and I have fished a lot! Been fishing with Coble many times over many years, always a great trip.

Captain Coble gave us the best experience out on the water! I brought my five year old son for a half day, and wish we would have booked longer. My son got a little sea-sick, and Capt. Coble still found us lots of fish in the bay. It was the highlight of our trip. Thanks Captain!

We had a wonderful afternoon on the water with Captain Coble. We were lucky enough to have a pod of dolphins swim right next to the boat and even got to see several Manta Rays. Unforgettable experience.

What an amazing trip we had with Captain Coble. We caught some fish and then went over to Dog Island and saw the shipwrecks that were washed ashore after Hurricane Michael. Definitely recommend!

I’ve been coming to this island since my childhood , Took my 4 yr old son fishing with coble yesterday and it was by far the best guide I’ve experienced on the island yet!Great attitude, clean boat, great patience with my 4 yr old and let me mention we caught a bunch of fish.we will now always book coble on our annual trips at least ounce if not twice during our stay.Thanks again for a great time captain!!!

Captain Coble is a very experienced captain! He was exceptionally knowledgeable on the fish and on how to get them in the boat. This was a very fun experience, and I'll be looking him up the next time I'm in Florida!

We had an amazing time! Very thankful he was able to book us last minute. Were able to catch a number of different fish and even my husband caught a 29lb red fish! He was very helpful providing assistance and education along the way showing us different styles of fishing. We will definitely book again with him in the future! Highly recommend!!! We did a kids fishing/dolphin/sea shell trip. We all caught fish, saw dolphins and got some neat seashells. Captain Coble was kind and very knowledgeable. Hope we can go again! Thanks so much!

What a fantastic trip we had. Captain Coble is a top notch guide. We stayed on fish all day long! We limited out on redfish , caught a variety of other species as well. I highly recommend Griffith guide service and we’ll certainly use him anytime we come to St George island or Cape San blas.

Coble did not disappoint! He was a fabulous guide and was very personable. He took us to the right spot to catch numerous fish. My kids were ecstatic everytime they had a bite and Coble was awesome helping them bait the line and teaching them how to cast. The highlights were catching both a stingray and a shark! My kids will remember our adventure forever!!

Captain Coble did an awesome job!! Me and 2 of my buddies decided to do a charter for the first time and had an absolute blast!! We limited out on Red drum, catch a ton of tasty white trout, croaker, sea bass, bluefish, and a flounder. At the end, he filleted all the fish and bagged them up. First class guy, we all definitely will use him again.

Our group of 3 went out last Wednesday 5/19/21 with Captain Coble.

The wind had been blowing all week in SGI, so it was not perfect fishing conditions...but no need to fear...the Captain put us on fish the entire trip. He even showed us some pretty impressive captaining skills as he took us down the SGI "Cut" a couple times which was choppy that day due to the wind.

The captain is very friendly, knowledgeable, and is an open book. He is more than willing to field any and all questions that you may have regarding Florida fishing, tackle, techniques, fish species, bird species that you will see while fishing, etc.

We maxed out on our slot reds and caught several throw back reds! Other species caught included stingray, catfish, pinfish, and spadefish. Bonus kicker: I saw a couple dolphins on the way out to the first fishing spot.

The captain will clean your keeper fish, post trip, and send you home with some nice fillets!

I would recommend Griffith Guide Service to any one looking for a guided trip in SGI.

Captain Coble was always quick to respond to questions, helpful, and informative. The morning we went out was windy. I reached out to Captain Coble and he was open to options (i.e. cancelling) but he gave us the confidence that he could put us on some fish.

A little while later, the whiting was coming in so fast for our group that he had to start dropping the fish in the bottom of the boat while he moved to help the next person. He was very helpful and gave great advice. Moreover, he showed that he is a true man of character. As we were casting early in the morning, it was pretty choppy. Captain Coble noticed a person waving for help off in the horizon. He immediately had us stop so we could go help. Ended up some local sailors had the mast on their hobie cat break and were being pulled out to sea. Captain Coble didn’t hesitate to tow them in and get us right back on the fish.

We ended with 44 fish in the cooler, some great advice on a local place that would cook it for us, and even more great memories. We’ll always go back to Captain Coble and Griffith Guide Service.
