Fishing Pier

Plenty of room, adequate for everyone. Plenty of fish too!

There is a negstive stigma attached to catfish. Some say it's poisonous, some say it doesn't taste like anything so in general people throw their catfish back or give it to birds. Based on my research, they may taste muddy and may have high mercury content as they dwell on lower parts of the ocean.

Such a great re-purposing of an old bridge. There is plenty of room. There are bathrooms and a little beach. Be sure to bring a chair, some water, and an umbrella because there is no shade. It is such a nice spot.

Beautiful spot. Great fishing and a nice, quiet, strip of beach to walk and take amazing, sunset photos.

Nice walk out on the old bridge that offers excellent quality fishing. They do have basic restrooms which was much appreciated

We love fishing from the pier ,always clean and plenty of room. A porta potty is available for your convenience. And if your lucky you might even see some dolphins. We have visited here many times over the year and no doubt we will visit again.

Very well maintained. Handicapped accessible and portapotties on site. It looks like they are building a more modern restroom at the beginning of the pier. Otherwise a very fancy bait shop.

This is the Eastpoint portion of the old St. George Island bridge that is now a fishing pier. There is parking, and people can walk out on about 3,000 feet of remaining bridge with fishing rods or sun chairs. It can be popular on weekends but still plenty of room. Redfish, sea trout, flounder and other typical bay fish. You might see dolphins, too.

Loved sitting there one evening. Relaxing and fun.

It's cool that they left a section of the old bridge on both sides (mainland and island) and repurposed it into a fishing pier. It's huge and offers a lot of space to choose from for fishing or even just walking.

Very beautiful sunrises here and rhe fishing is good too!! Very rare to see such an area that hasn't been trashed!!
