Big Fish SGI

We had two kids (14 and 10) out fishing and the biggest compliment I could give is that Capt Clint made it really fun for my kids.
We went miles out into the gulf, hit a number of spots, caught some big snapper, he cleaned them all for us, and we all had a blast on the trip. Thanks again

Had a great 7 hour trip with Captain Clint and his first mate. FYI. Hit the gym for a upper body work out. Cause he's going to put you on the big fish. Will charter him again.

I've been fishing with various charters all over the state of Florida for 20+ years. Captain Clint is a man of few words but when it comes to fishing many talents.

We arrived right on departure time and the boat was clean and ready. After packing the items we brought we headed offshore for our 7 hour trip. First stop we caught bait, our group of 6 all took turns catching some bait. After that we headed to our first spot where we caught a few "smaller" red snapper that would be keeper fish for most people that he did not want to keep because they were not up to his standard of a keeper fish. Caught a goliath grouper, and hooked up with 6 of the keeper reds he was looking for, 20 lbers.

As soon as the bite was slow for about 5 minutes it was time to move. We headed to a drift location, trolled the area for few mintues looking for a wahoo bite since they lost one in that location on a previous trip. After a couple of drifts and some "smaller" fish it was time to move to our final location.

The last location was hook up after hookup of big red snappers where we promptly filled the remainder of our 12 fish limit along with wearing out our entire group from fighting fish. With the boat full of average weight of 20 pound red snappers and a worn out fishing group of 6 we decided to head in about an hour early.

Clint and first mate and wife Christie are an awesome team who will keep you fishing and wearing your arms out.

We had a blast sharing the day with Captain Clint and his first mate (wife) Christine fishing in the Gulf. We caught bass, grouper, shark, etc. And skirted a water spout.

big fish sgi was highly recommended to us and is one of the best fishing charters on the island. captain Clint and his wife were very nice and helpful. it was great fishing and an awesome time. we had a cooler full of fish in less than a couple hours. if you are looking for a good time and good fishing go on sgi big fish.

Chris and I had a fabulous day with Captain Clint and First Mate, Christine on Big Fish SGI charter. Finished with our fresh caught fish on the grill at favorite restaurant. It was a perfect day! Thank you both!!!!

Captain Clint is the best! Our fishing excursion was well planned and enjoyable for all of our group! Caught our limit! Who can ask for anything more! Thank you Captain, will definitely be re booking next year!

I have used Big fish before. And I have been a very very happy with not only the service but the experience as well. He knows what he's doing he knows where the fish is at. Not only is he a great businessman he is a fantastic ambassador of St George Island. This year unfortunately mother nature got us. Planned for a year in advance. Just to have mother nature jerk it right out from under us. The water was in very horrible condition a few miles off of the island. And it was decided to not chance getting someone hurt or killed. And least of all why Chance making somebody feel miserable the remainder of the day. It is what it is. It wasn't anybody's fault. I am very appreciative that he just wasn't chasing the dollars to chase the dollars. He put our safety and our experience first. I highly recommend him

Capt. Clint and Christine provide an amazing experience and put you on Huge Grouper, Mangrove, Snapper (when in Season), Amberjack & even trolling game fish. We have been on three full day trips in the past two years with "Big Fish" & Capt. Clint knows the Federal waters, keeps you safe when the weather turns bad, and takes you to all the HONEY holes where the BIG FISH are found!
"A Frye" posting a review stating that "you do not recommend this service" LMAO...You didn't even fish with Clint Lady. We don't need you on the island, go slam some bass in Eufaula.
The "NO GO" call is for everyone's safety, and there were many consecutive days in summer/fall 2022 when no federal captains were able to make offshore trips due to WIND, weather and 6-8 foot seas.

Had a great time, on fish immediately! In the open waters, Captain Clint knew the spots that were packed with fish. Highly recommend Big Fish SGI.

I have had a long standing reservation for June 1st. He always puts me on the fish! Tell him what fish you wan to catch and he knows where to take you. Never been disappointed!

Arrived at the boat about 7:40 am to go on a 12 hour trip. When we pulled up, the boat was on the trailer, it was not ready to go fishing. We called the captain and told him we were waiting at the boat, he informed us that he would call us back at 8:30 . He calls back and said the weather was too bad and it was a no go. I just drove 2 hours to fish. He could have had showed up at the boat and told us. At least we could have talked about maybe some inshore fishing like redfish, trout, and Triple tail. We stayed at a friends house until lunch and went to Halfshell Dockside ate lunch no rain. There never was any bad weather, but maybe they celebrated the 4th too much. And if that was the case at least show up in person and talk to your customers.

BAD FOR BUSINESS
Confirmed booking at 6am and captain Clint couldn’t recover from hangover. Actually showed up at his house is when he cancelled. Never seen anything more unprofessional than this.

Got stood up by Captain Clint. Canceled without good reason, left us hanging on a beautiful day on SGI. Survivors bait shop claims he's a drunk!

Terrible service! Got to the boat at 7:40 and nothing was ready! He didn’t call and left us waiting. When we called him he said it was cancelled due to weather. He should have called or emailed us to let us know that the fishing was cancelled. He was not nice on the phone and didn’t care that we were sitting at the doc waiting on him. I do not recommend this service he was not customer friendly. We understand weather just not the fact he didn’t notify us!

My family went on this charter and had a terrible experience. Clint is extremely rude and should not speak to people the way he did to my family. Spend your money elsewhere!!!!
