Beautiful hike through a few different habitats. Lots of potential for wildlife settings (we saw river otters and lots of beaver engineering). The principal goal of our visit was to some birdwatching but the trail was so beautiful that we'll visit again for the hiking.

Easy to find and a nice length for a simple day hike. Make sure to bring your bug spray and/or cover well! Lots of skeeters out currently. A couple cute dams, and even one you can walk out on!

As of July 3, 2022 there is a fallen tree on one section of the trail, I managed to maneuver under it. It looks like other trees were recently sawn and removed from the path, which is nice to know it's kept up.

Like others have said, this trail is very well marked. This was my first solo hike, and the bright blue trail markers were easy to follow (with the exception of the downed tree I mentioned earlier).

It's been relatively dry recently, but a few sections of the trail were a bit mushy, would probably be much muddier with rain. Some of the boardwalks over muddy/creek sections gave a little, but just step carefully and you'll be fine.

Enjoyed the 1.6 mile hike. The trail was very well marked and very pretty. I liked the pines and small wooded bridges.

Honestly don't want to leave a good review because I want to keep this magical hike to ourselves.... but seriously, check it out. It's a magical forest fairy tale complete with beaver dam

First visit to this hike. I went with my two dogs who were on a skijouring belt. My GPS took me to Cedar St. and I parked there, unsure of whether or not this was the right place.

I did not see where the trail started. Saw a board on the ground and thought to myself, that it couldn't possibly be the place, but it was.

The trail is quite narrow. Very narrow and deep in woods. I did a silent hike (no bear bells, though I had them in my pack and an air horn in my pocket.

We saw a beaver and a bear running away from us when my beagle started baying obnoxiously loudly :)

This is a great hike and I will definitely do it again. Loved it.

Very scenic, trail was beautiful but a little difficult in the wet conditions and flooded out in some areas. Ghost . flowers were everywhere 💚

Visited during the winter. It's a short drive from the border and was well maintained when I went. Saw a few hares and deer, very peaceful.

The perfect afternoon hike. The trail is about 1.6 miles, so it doesn't take long, and the terrain is easy enough for the whole family. One of the best marked trails I've ever been on. Amazing views of the river - if you're lucky, you might see a beaver!

Loved this short hike through the woods! Lots of beaver activity and surprisingly few bugs. Easy though does include some planks and stairs.

Great trails all year, less parking in winter- off 5 mile. Great lookout deck for viewing.

Cool spot. There is quite a hike from the parking spot to the trailhead, but the trail itself is well marked and cool
