Great little Mom n Pop shop. We kinda started a big rush, but their kids jumped in and picked up the slack!
Great tasting burgers with a huge numbers of "build your own burger" options. Multiple fry and tot choices.

Honestly some of the best food I have had in a long time! My parents have been trying to get my husband and I to eat here since their first visit. (They come about once a week lol). We finally gave in and went today, we absolutely loved it. It is the cutest place!
The prices were extremely fair! The taste, quality of their food and their portion sizes are amazing. Their cheeseburgers are delicious. The triple bacon burger is no joke! The battered fries are perfect. The chicken crunch salad is the best! They have watermelon sherbet, it is a MUST! And I don’t even like sherbet. They also have baked goods you can purchase (I got a bag of no-bake cookies and a peanut butter bar - both fantastic). Overall I highly recommend! Whether you’re passing through or looking for something new to try, you gotta go here! 😊

Good food, great friendly service, and a hometown local vibe at very reasonable prices. What more could you ask for? I had a double cheeseburger with grilled onions cheddar cheese and pepper jack, with seasoned fries, the fries are the best around burgers are delicious and very filling too. The welcoming staff and atmosphere make Mel's place well worth the drive to Mona! I will definitely be back! Update, returned today 5-23 got a jalapeño bacon double cheeseburger with grilled jalapeños. Mel's definitely lived up to my previous reviews even though they were pretty busy today, my food was still out fast, and absolutely delicious 😋

This place is such a hidden gem! The food was fantastic and the service was amazing! Definitely recommend the battered fries. Love how you get 2 sauces with your meal. They have a back seating area with fun games for the kids. We will definitely be back when we are in the Nephi/Mona area!

Great place to stop and eat! The quality of the meat is top-notch. The battered fries are amazing. Try the treats, ice cream, or soft serve for a yummy snack. Stop by this restaurant for the authentic small town food. It will not disappoint. Plus, the owners are there and are super kind.

The city park is right across the street too.

The hamburger was phenomenal and the double was only seven dollars! The onion bites were crispy and had a great crunch, and the lady up front was so kind. Amazing burger place and definitely recommend!

Yummy place to stop on our way home. If you're craving a yummy burger this is a great option. I had the cheese burger with pastrami, it was everything I love in a burger. They have salads and shakes and more too. Service was very kind, they got a pretty big rush when we got there, but our food came out quickly and it looked like everyone else was as pleased as we were.

The onion bites were a little greasy, but the Halibut sandwich was very good. This place was recommended when I was hiking near Nephi, and I'm glad I went there over the normal fast food choices. I also got some corn dog bites that were very good and not greasy at all.

Mel cooks some of the best food I've had in recent memory. The corn dog bites are great for kids (and everyone) and the burgers are ALWAYS top notch with a nice selection of addons.

First time to Mel’s Place. The food was excellent. I ordered a cheeseburger and it was delicious. I haven’t had burger taste that good in a while. I will be back to try other foods. It was clean with a friendly staff and nice atmosphere

This place is banging. Great food always served hot and soooooo good. We have been three or four times now and everything is so good we just want to keep trying new menu items. Great small town business. Great food.

The easiest way to say it... find a reason to go here... this is the unicorn that you want to visit. Small town locally owned, great food, and great owners. There is a lot of care and great cooking that goes into this place. You will thank me.

I recommend the burgers. Mine was perfect as a bacon cheese burger with a fried egg on top. You have to try both the battered fries and the onion nuggets. You will wonder why no one else has thought of creating the nuggets.

If you have little and not so little ones that need to burn off some energy, the town's park is right across the street. Do you have a few more minutes? Play a board game on the shelf, read the book about the history of Mona, or chat with Mel or her husband about the history of the building, long haul trucking stories, or of course food.

Great food. Nice small town atmosphere, with a sense of town pride. Really enjoy the burger. The food is made with passion. The curly fries, onion bites, and burgers are worth coming again and again.

Edit: The restaurant switched ownership/management recently. They have shown a deep passion for continuing the business. They offer weekly specials that have been amazing. They have a great social media presence on Facebook keeping people updated. These guys are worth the stop and the follow. They have treats, snacks and local goodies available as well. 10/10 would recommend.

Food is delicious. Service is suberp. It's the cutest little friendliest burger joint and I've been almost once a week since finding this little gem.

If you are anywhere near Mona, you must stop by Mel's. Everyone who has helped me has been nice and made me feel welcome. The food is really customizable and the ingredients are really good. I have never seen any other place like this.

The order had some issues but Steve was very courteous and went over and above to make it right. Will be coming back ❣
