A total gem I’m happy I stumbled across. It has a vintage record store ambiance, with a very nice cafe inside. Well priced food, tasty and fresh coffee. The two clerks at the front couldn’t be nicer or more hospitable. All around a very good experience.

This cafe is all about coziness and community! Here you will find new and rare records, new and used books, coffee, tea, smoothies, sandwiches, beer and wine... And lots of personality! It is such a wonderful second home for many in this community and if you haven't already checked it out, I beg you to stop in!

A must visit! My mom and I stumbled upon this spot while looking for a cup of coffee. We both ended up making purchases (a record and a book), and the folks working there were lovely! The coffee was great, too. Definitely go and check out this local gem.

An excellent location for good vibes, eclectic things and a bit of culture. The books in the bookstore portion are gems! The vinyl records are classics, and the cafe is very reasonably priced as well as delicious.

Records, books, coffee, and excellent atmosphere, what else do you need? This is a wonderfully fun local bookstore combined with coffee shop and record store that also features live music. There’s a healthy mix of new and used books, records, and even CDs. They had live musicians playing which was such a nice touch.

As far as the coffee setup, I had a pot of tea that was presented nicely. Looks like they have standard coffee shop options with some small snack style dishes and breakfast foods.

They have a good selection of books and music, with a lot of different genres. I really appreciated the Florida-centric book display with some local themed books!

There’s easy free parking around the building. They have some seating throughout including a colorful kid’s seating area in the back, high top tables, bar seats along the cafe area, low top tables by the front, a couch with nearby arm chairs, and outdoor seating in the back.

We had a long layover in FT Lauderdale and decided to look up bookstores. We thought we’d just be there for an hour and ended up staying a few and didn’t want to leave!

They had an excellent fiction selection, and a great used book section.

I browsed for at least an hour while my partner and his brother played chess and drank tea and coffee. We then enjoyed the most delicious green smoothie I’ve ever had. I normally avoid green smoothies bc although healthy don’t taste the best.. not this one! After I tasted my partner’s I had to treat myself.

The barista / bookseller with the blonde ponytail was SO nice and made all our delish afternoon treats.

The cherries on top for me were:

The fantastic math rock and emo music playing the entire time. My absolute favorite genre.

And when I thought It couldn’t get any better they had my favorite lavender coconut hand soap I buy for myself at home!

100/ 10 recommend a visit (or several) here. I’m so sad I live many states away!

This is the unique gem I hoped for but didn’t think I’d find in the area.

This place is a GEM! I was so pleasantly surprised to stumble upon it after living in the area for over a decade. The staff is friendly and kind, and the veggie sandwich I ordered was a perfect balance of freshness and flavors. I also ordered a cappuccino with oat milk and it was lovely. The space itself is quite impressive-a great spot to browse the books and records and take in the ambience.

We had a long wait between when we got off our cruise ship until our flight home. We found My Mama’s using a google search so we could kill some time looking for books to read while we waited. My Mama’s was wonderful! They were so warm and welcoming. They had a wide variety of books to browse along with records and a great little cafe. We spent several hours at My Mama’s, we had some coffee, a light lunch, did some reading, and they did everything they could to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We spend the whole day at My Mama’s and never felt like they wanted us gone, instead they made us feel like we belonged there. I highly recommend My Mama’s to anyone who has some spare time while in the area. You won’t regret it.

My Mama's Books, Records, and Cafe is an absolute treasure in every sense of the word. From the moment you step into this charming establishment, you're greeted with warmth and a sense of nostalgia that is simply unparalleled. As a self-proclaimed bookworm and coffee aficionado, I have found my haven here.

The Iced oat milk Latte at My Mama's is nothing short of perfection. But the best part is that this place is reasonably priced, which is a rare find these days. Most places would charge an arm and a leg for this trendy menu item, but My Mama's offers it at a delightful $6. The combination of the creamy avocado spread and the crunch of the perfectly toasted bread is pure bliss that does not break the bank.

But My Mama's is more than just a cafe. It's a haven for book lovers and seekers of literary treasures. The carefully curated selection of books transports you to another world, inviting you to explore new realms of imagination and knowledge. The cozy ambiance, adorned with vintage decor and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, creates an atmosphere that encourages hours of blissful browsing.

What truly sets My Mama's apart is the genuine passion and care exuded by the staff. Their knowledge and love for literature make for engaging conversations and valuable recommendations. They have created a community of book enthusiasts who share their enthusiasm and appreciation for the written word.

Whether you're seeking a quiet corner to get lost in a book or crave a delightful cup of coffee paired with a delectable snack, My Mama's Books Records and Cafe is the place to be. It's a hidden gem that deserves recognition for its welcoming ambiance, reasonably priced menu, and collection of literary treasures that will make any bookworm's heartbeat.

I happened upon this place, and I'm so happy I did. The employees were friendly and personable, and they treated everyone like a regular. It has a calm and inviting ambiance with ecclectic antique decor adding to the charm. There was a decent selection of new and used books and records, free wifi, good coffee, and strong a/c. They offered breakfast and lunch type foods like bagels, quiche, cheese board, and assorted sandwiches. They had alcoholic beverages and smoothies as well. It's definitely a hidden gem.

Mama’s books is cozy cafe with an excellently curated selection of new and used books. In the evenings, its welcoming community hosts a variety of events. Easily the best bookstore in Dania Beach / Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and my favorite find as a tourist.

"My Mama's has become one of my favorite places to go on Saturdays, is my moment of relax with a glass of wine or beer. You can find books, a great atmosphere, board games, and the attention of the Argentine guy who attends in the place is 100%! Highly recommended."
