I had to have Dr Shaffer and team help my elderly pupperdoo cross the rainbow bribge yesterday. They have a private entrance to the room so you don't have to face a lot of strangers at such a time, which is absolutely awesome. They had been taking care of Marshmallow, my Akita, German Shepherd, Mastiff mix almost since they took over from Dr. Hott. He had hip issues like most large breeds get. They were super compassionate and understanding. They will be calling me when his ashes come back. I will continue to use them for my cat and any future animals i may get.

Dr. Shaffer and staff are absolutely wonderful.

I’m not sure it’s fair for me to give a review because I have not used their services. The reason for the 3 stars is the customer service I received when I called. They could not get me in for a routine visit and vaccinations in 3 1/2 weeks. I’m in the pet care industry and have heard amazing feedback about this vet. It’s just a shame I can’t get past scheduling to give them a shot. (This was my second attempt) their recommendation was to take my dog to the shot clinic and then take an appointment 5 weeks from now to “get established with my two dogs” this was going to cost me $92 just to get in the door in order to be considered “established”.. once established I guess I can get in sooner? I’m really not sure. It was a very strange encounter. I felt the person explaining the policy was unsure herself how it worked. Like it also didn’t make sense to her. I run my business first come first serve. I don’t make someone wait longer to get in because they are new. If a pet needs to be scene and there is an available appointment I guess I don’t quite understand why they can’t have that slot. Frustrating
