After a year's struggle to get a PO Box at this station, the new Postmaster, Lisa, handed me the keys today. Lisa and her clerk were very pleasant & helpful. Unlike the former Postmaster, Darlene, who told me I would get a PO Box in 20 years although she had PO Boxes available the entire time. After using the USPS complaint & FOIA processes, Darlene opted to kick rocks into retirement instead of handing out PO Box keys. Good riddance, Darlene! I'm sure the reviews for the Rye post office will now be better than the 1 star reviews received while Darlene had her stronghold over this postal station. Darlene wasted the time of her community members & promoted USPS revenue losses by not allowing the PO boxes to be rented to people she "doesn't know." She made Rye look bad. Onward...I'm sure Postmaster, Lisa, will do extremely well!

Typical small town post office. STRICT adherence to regulations is the norm here.

I’d give zero stars if it would allow me. For 4 months straight EVERY SINGLE DAY that I’ve been living here for work these lunatics go out in between 3-4 AM and bang on trash cans waking up my new born and myself every morning. It’s bad enough we have to hear the school busses at 530 every morning. It’s seriously getting old EVERY DAY. You need to either wait until business hours to slam your trash cans like a beast or hire a sensible person to operate night hours. I will be calling the BBB as well as the postal services of Colorado.

Theres an employee, Dennis, who is rude and
incompetent. Any questions you have, he talks right over you, slow as hell and is never helpful. Complete waste of space.

Every time at 12pm they close up even though they say they are open until 12:30pm

If there was any way to put a zero star I would. Rude, doors were open and would not give me my package. Closed the door in my face and said “we are closed” when it was still in the time to be able to get my package. One employee is really nice, but the others are inconsiderate.
