The Lunch Box

Excellent lunch stop near the interstate. My goal is always to find fresh local food, but I don't always have time to go far. This place was perfect. I had a chicken salad sandwich with grapes in it that was unique and refreshing. Really happy I took time to google and didn't settle for gas station food. Also really fast Interstate 95 access.

This place is excellent! The sandwiches are filling and delicious. The salads are fresh and perfectly dressed. They were out of a few things and did their best to make it right. Wonderful service.

Great food, great people! This great little spot is about a mile east of I-95. We stopped here with our three young kids on our way to FL. Fresh, healthy food and, interesting sandwiches, easy kids menu. The Lunch Box is a simple, no-frills local sandwich shop and it's also very clean, pleasant and friendly! We'll gladly eat here again!

What a cute little restaurant! We stopped in from a field trip down the road at The Ashantilly Center. They suggested we have lunch at The Lunchbox! It was a great suggestion.

We ended up getting dessert and taking it back home. The chocolate cake and carrot cake were to die for.

My son has asked when we can go back! Soon very soon!

What a fantastic experience stopping for lunch on our way through driving from Florida to New York! We were hoping for a home cooked experience/feel and that’s exactly what we got. Everything we ordered was excellent and the potato salad was out of this world yummy. The sweet owner sent us on our way with some complimentary strawberry cheesecake. Wonderful!

Have you ever eaten somewhere and was undecided about what you wanted?? Well, go here…please!!! I still don’t know what I want here but for a totally different reason…EVERYTHING IS GOOD!!! At a sandwich shop mind you!! If they were open 7 days a week I would be there at least 5…the salads 🥗 are fresh and crunchy and very delicious and nutritious…seriously…the sandwiches are…OMG!!! Ya gotta try them too!! Really I could continue my rave but I’m going to just say drop in and check them out for yourself…oh and the folks running the place treat you like an ole friend or family member just dropping by, imagine that…good food good atmosphere and great prices!!! and don’t forget it’s just basically a sandwich shop…I would have pictures but I don’t have time because I’m too busy chowing down. My favorite place in all of McIntosh County…Jill, Brett and Rich local treasures. Now my secret is out. See ya there…

A quaint and quiet little sandwich shop within minutes from Darien waterfront. The food was fresh and delicious! I've never seen a bigger club sandwich anywhere. You can't beat the prices and along with friendly staff, this is a place I can't wait to try again!

This place is a true gem hidden in a small strip mall. We both had the Ultimate sandwich with potato salad. The sandwich was exactly as advertised and so yummy. The potato salad was tangy goodness. I also got a sample of their slaw and it was fresh and tangy also. We definitely are coming back here !!!

Best 5 minutes off of the trip to Disney I have ever spent. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING.

My family had a wedding this past weekend and needed lunch for the wedding party. The owners and staff at the Lunchbox were more than accommodating! They helped us find the best option for our group and even came in on Saturday (they're normally closed) to make the sandwiches fresh for us! The sandwiches and sides were delicious and our crew was ready for the wedding :) We can't thank you enough!!!

Hidden gem off of I-95. Go here instead of a fast food restaurant, you will not regret it.

I cannot recommend the lunch box enough! We stopped by while traveling through. The food was great and the staff was even greater! True southern hospitality and kind souls.

Our group of 11 ordered lunch from The Lunchbox yesterday, and it was perfect. The food was on time and delicious. The chicken salad is amazing. Jill is so pleasant to work with. I highly recommend this place for 10 out of 10 overall experience.

We swung in for lunch and a quick break during our road trip. Loved the sandwiches! Delicious. And the staff seemed very friendly and attentive.
It wasn’t very far off the beaten path so it was an excellent option for road-trip food that won’t leave you uncomfortable for your drive!

First time here today. I ordered a Hawaiian sandwich with macaroni salad. Very good. Would recommend calling in order if on lunch break. People were coming in quickly. Meal was delicious.

This is definitely one of our favorite sandwich shops! The food is always so good! Love their sandwiches and pasta salads! Customer service is always amazing! And they have a 100 with the health department!!
