Pho So 1 Restaurant Quincy, MA

Recently had a private event at Pho So 1 in their private room.
The event went over well. We heard as much from our guests. Before the event, the management explained every question I had and in a timely manner. There were plenty of appetizers for all the guests. We had a choice of three main courses which were very good as well. We were able to come early to decorate the room. More importantly the my son and daughter-in-law were very happy with everything.

Great service and xlarge was really large haha! We loved the pho and vermicelli!

We were searching for a good pho place when we came across Pho So 1. They have some of the best pho in the Boston area. Some may say it’s pho-nomenal, or rieu good.

This is the owners second location, original one is in randolph near Eastern Bank. This spots warm, always has tables available, but super limited parking, plan ahead, take an uber, or public transit so you don't have to worry about that, the food is phenomenal as always ❤🧡💛💚💙💜

Food
I came here for pho, and it did not disappoint. I ordered the most expensive one, and the presentation was great in addition to the taste. What I didn’t expect was how flavourful the roasted quails were. Absolutely a must try fish.

Everything else
The service was good, but I wish the waitress knows a bit more about the food because when I asked how the quail was cooked, the answer was I don’t know.

Beautiful new restaurant that is family owned! Everything is clean. Food is delicious! Drink menu is very extensive and includes drinks that other Vietnamese restaurants do not have. Definitely a welcomed addition to the south shore!! Will be coming back to try many more dishes. Highly recommend others try this restaurant and will be telling family/friends!

I had pho served in a stone bowl here with my boyfriend, and we absolutely loved it. The pho had a delicious flavor, and the service was excellent. The price was definitely worth the value.

We will definitely come back to support this place.

Ngon qua! (YUMMY!!) Everything was fantastic. Quick service and friendly staffs. I didn’t expect anything but this restaurant definitely blows my mind🤩 Hot stone Pho is huge! The broth is rich and tasty. Will definitely come back to try other dishes. TRY AND YOU WILL NOT DISAPPOINTED!

We came on the opening day of this new Vietnamese restaurant in Quincy.
Very nice restaurant, spacious and clean! Food was exceptional! Very fresh and very tasty!!

The waitress was super nice and patient, spent time with us and explained some things about Vietnamese cuisine, helped us to choose meals. We felt very welcomed there!

Loved everything about our experience, but especially the food - so delicious!

First off, this space is big. I ordered items typically not found in other local Vietnamese restaurants like their Dragon Fruit Leaf Salad and the special Stone Pot Pho with Short Ribs. I’m glad I did! The salad was refreshing with different textures, especially the crunchy dragon fruit leaves that I’ve never heard of until now. The Stone Pot Pho was also incredibly filling with rich, fall off the bone ribs.

The friendly owner happened to be there as well and chatted with me and my friend. I noticed a closed off space in a part of the restaurant and she mentioned that the restaurant can host private parties of about 50 people. It’s definitely something I’ll think about for future family events.

Overall, it was a good experience. Definitely go and check it out.

Very clean, new restaurant. Pho tastes decent as well as other dishes. They are new so maybe a little slow but the service is friendly and attentive. We will come back

This place is SOO GOOD. Would def come again. The broth for the pho is perfect. Usually have to add sirarcha and hoisin sauce to add flavor. Don’t need to with this. They don’t skimp out on the meat either. The bun Bo nuong is also amazing. They give you so much and the meat is so good. Def would come here again

Came for dinner with my mom and sister. Ordered their Special Combination Pho, which comes with beef slices, well down flank, brisket, tendon and tripes. Soup is nice and hot. So far, the best pho I have in Quincy.
There is a sign on their front door, which indicates they have parking at the rear. It is challenging to find a parking spot on the small public parking lot next to the building. Service is decent. Staff are nice, but service is a little slow.
Total included tax (excluded gratuity) for 2 large and 1 small special combo pho is $50-51. Wish they would offer hu ky (shrimp tofu) as an appetizer. Will come back again, and try their hu ky.

Try the Pho hot bow $27, the rib is huge and tasty :) Bun bo hue is great also. Milk coffee is also great. The only thing is not great that is the buble tea (tasted like water adding sugar, no tea at all. Hope the owner fix this. Recommended

Nice big open space. The meat wasn’t as great as the Pho So 1 in Randolph.. not sure if it was just that batch I got. I got a Pho Dac Biet. Also more pricier here compared to other Pho restaurants in the area

We have been there a few times so far. Love the pho bowl that is larger (bigger portion) than other pho places in Quincy. My wife and I love the pho bowl and the tomorrow crab soup a lot. Will repeat. Only problem is that parking was bit tough even though we didn't get at rush hours.

I'd like to clarify to say that hands down THIS is best spot for pho ever. I've been to many pho restaurants around the Boston area and I've never had anything as good as this before. The meat was so tender and you can see the marbling on the meat with the perfect fat to lean ratio. The soup is light but so rich and adding just a little bit of Sriracha enhances the soup to a next level! You can they really care about thier food when you see that they washed thier bean sprouts, now this may not seem like a big deal but typically in most pho restaurants they just throw some out of a bag and put it on a plate but not this place the quality and care they put into thier food is amazing!! One of the best places I've eaten in a while ,super nice location, friendly staff, great food what else could you ask for? Definitely coming back for more!! ❤
