My company picks up here often. I’ve done live loads as well as drop and hook from here. Live loads might be a bit slow but that’s the only “complaint” I have. Overall, I like picking up from here.

No problem with delivering load 40 minutes in&out. Thanks

I'm enjoying myself greatly as an employee, but I would love to straighten out some of the other more common comments. Ahlstrom as a company converts tree to paper, which does in fact create a unique smell. Completely filtered of toxins the smell and air is safe, and nothing but an after affect. In terms of trailer load time, it is large buisness and safety is their first practice, not priority, practice. Priortys can change and Ahlstrom will not. In terms of productivity yes faster is always nicer, but not all things are perfect and that maybe a fault here. I hope this was helpful, and was unfortunately long.

Delivery, doors 12-14. in 8:35 am, out 9:10 am, not bad. but stinks.

They take 3 hours to load for canadian depand how many truck ahead sometimes more times

Worst company I ever when too to get loaded it took them 3 in half hours to load Overweight big rolls of paper I was 1st got there a 6am And I'm on the clock and they were loading dedicated local guys faster than me 4 people left before me I go inside and ask them what's going on they are saying they lost the load ?

Sucks getting loaded here. They take their time.

That's a horrible place to get a live load in i hate it it took me 5 h to get loaded shame on this company and the management is zero 👎

Be ready to spend 5-10 hrs here for a live load.

This place has a poor grip on their own loading procedure and a tendency to get frustrated with themselves and take it out on the truck drivers. I was supposed to be asleep as my codriver docked at this place but the commotion woke me up and I decided to open a window to watch and listen.

Multiple people of their own volition gave my codriver multiple sets of contradicting instructions, then all of them were mad when my codriver was unable to follow every single set of instructions perfectly.

It started with them not knowing whether or not they wanted us to load with the tandems forward or back. After being told to switch them 5 different times they finally settled on loading with the tandems all the way back.

Then it was whether or not they wanted us to stay hooked up to the trailer while loading. Same hook, unhook situation until they decided it was fine to stay hooked up. Then while in the middle of having the trailer loaded a (I assume manager) came out and started barking orders at my codriver to unhook immediately WHILE THE FORKLIFT WAS STILL INSIDE THE TRAILER AND THE LIGHT WAS STILL RED. My codriver obviously refused as that is an unsafe docking maneuver that could result in damaged equipment and/or injured people. Well the "manager" type didn't like that my codriver knew safety guidelines I guess because their response was to turn to their own dock workers and yell the phrase "get them the f*** off the dock NOW!*. I find it interesting they use that language with customers.

A while later a different person approached trying once AGAIN to get my codriver to unhook from a trailer actively being live-loaded. My codriver once again did the safe and correct thing which is to refuse the dangerous request.

Our load was promptly finished and ready to go a brisk SEVEN HOURS LATER.

I've never seen a more poorly managed shipping dock.
