My friend and I had such a great time at the paint your pet night! Michelle was so welcoming and encouraging throughout the entire process and truly made sure that we left with a painting we were proud of. She was present the whole night and came around to each of us individually to give us pointers and do some touch ups for us. Would 1000% recommend to anyone and I hope to be back to check out the boutique! :)

The Paint Your Pet class was amazing! I am 100% not a painter, but Michelle was super patient and guided us all along the way. She taught us new techniques and added some touch-ups to our personal painting. I am so proud of how this painting turned out. I definitely recommend this class and this studio!

I attended a paint your pet class and I had so much fun! The class was good for any painting skill level. The owner, Michelle, was so lovely and made the experience stress free. Had the most amazing time doing the paint your pet class last night!!! It was so in and Such a cute, relaxing environment and Michelle was absolutely awesome!!! We will be back to try out the other fun classes as well as more painting classes!!!! Highly recommended !!!!

Just had a paint and sip with a couple of my girlfriends at this studio with the owner Michelle and literally had the best time!!! My friends and I were just talking about going back again as it was the best and much need moms night out! Thank you so much Michelle for the amazingly fun class! We will definitely be back and highly recommend going here!

Absolutely stunning the moment you walk through the door. I love there is a boutique to shop and a Gallery as well! They have business hours so you can pop in whenever they are open. The owner is the sweetest! She has the biggest passion for Art! If your wanting to attend any of the classes there it’s a huge recommendation from me! Energy....Creativity....This is the feeling you get walking into Truthful Art Studio. You are welcomed with color and creativity enveloping the studio. Paintings, sculpture, jewelry, clothing....all wonderfully handmade by local artists. The classes are so eclectic and interesting....so many to choose from. The owner is vivacious and helpful when you want a special gift for a loved one! Definitely a "must see" in the town of Zelienople!!

I have had several amazing experiences at Truthful Art Studio. The Beauty Vendor events are always amazing with the cutest vendors- I hosted my stepdaughters birthday paint party and it was a blast for the girls! I always look forward to any event hosted at the studio. The owner is always so helpful, upbeat and an amazing host.

I went with a friend to do canvas painting. It was fun and Michelle was super nice and helpful. I’d recommend as a fun outing with friends.

Truthful Art is a magical place! Michelle is a fantastic teacher and I have learned so many wonderful new skills through her 4 week paint class. I will definitely be back!

I have been to Truthful Art Studio several times, at its previous location. I had a few friends join for a girls night wine and paint course, as well as a bracelet beading class. The staff is super friendly and professional, no matter which instructor/artist you’re working with. The studio has a diverse offering of many types of classes, which I find unique compared to the standard “paint and sip” companies that just offer one art medium. I most definitely will be back!

Fabulous studio and boutique! The owner is so very talented and has created such a cool vibe and welcoming place. I highly recommend her classes and shopping.

I had a horrible experience with the owner of this studio and I would recommend against ever taking a class here.

I signed myself and two other individuals up for a cookie decorating class here. I have taken a class with this instructor before. The day of the class one of my party members said she was not feeling well and was not comfortable going to the class in case she could get others sick. I told her it was ok that I could bring her cookie decorating kit home to her (something that the instructor had told me was doable at the previous class).

When my friend and I arrived there was immediate confusion about the number of seats that had been set, the number of people who were supposed to be attending etc. In order to be able to sit together my friend and I sat at a table that was not set up, no big deal. When I told the instructor that my third person was unable to come and asked if I could take her kit home to her, the instructor informed me that there were not enough kits. I was confused because I paid for three people, so all three of us should have been in the total count. I was told my the instructor that there was a miss communication between the owner of the studio and her on the number of attendees, and that she did not bring enough kits. She instructed me to contact the owner to ask for the refund of the third ticket/kit.

I reached out to the owner that night to request the refund. I was told NO. She said that she does not give refunds for people who do not show up for classes. I explained that even if my third person had shown up, because of the communication breakdown between her and the instructor, they would not have had cookies to decorate. The emails went back and forth for a while. I tried to copy the instructor to get it straightened out, but it was not helping at all. The owner was rude and made sure to inform me that "she has been doing this for 10 years" and does not give refunds. She kept telling me she was going to give me credits for future classes, which I told her I did not want as this interaction will keep me for ever going back to her studio.

I reached out to the instructor separately to ask her to explain to the owner that she did not have enough cookie kits because of their miss communication and that I should be refunded (as she told me the night of the class) for the cookies that I paid for but did not get.

at first she offered to venmo me the cost of the ticket but then changed her tune when she said the owner had told her that I had been refunded. I was never refunded. I believe the owner was talking about how she offered (but NEVER sent) me credits for future classes.

This was a really ridiculous situation. I do not believe that patrons should be responsible for miscommunications between the owner of a studio and a class instructor. I am happy to upload the emails to show that both the owner and instructor admit that it was an error on their part. Why should I have to lose $55 because of a problem between them?

I will never go back to this studio or support that business. Awful experience.
