I am part of the front desk team at a Dental Office in Belmont and I call in perscriptions for patients on a regular basis. I understand that we are still dealing with a pandemic and that this Walmart pharmacy is now offering vaccines and therefore is very busy but there is NO excuse for a pharmacist to be rude to me when I attempt to help a patient of ours figure out when she can pick up her perscription. I was as polite as I could be informing him that, due to their system, I HAD already called in the RX however wanted to make sure that it would be recieved shortly and able to get processed as the patient CURRENLY was planning on heading straight to them. All he needed to say was my apologies but it is busy here today because we are doing vaccines now and give me an approptiate timetable to relay to the pt of a better time to get her rx. instead he hotily stated that they had not recieved the rx yet to wish i repeated that i had just left a message he then guffawed and stated that they would get to it when they could as they where doing vaccines now. i am appauled and hope that this pharmacist has a better day as is can't have been great up til now just know that you are not the only one and be as kind to everyone you speak to as possible becuase you have no idea what THEY may be going through as well.

Went for a covid vaccine, no appointment needed, per website. Pharmacy was empty, and employees just standing there, was refused vaccine because ' it was too late', even though Pharmacy was open for another hour. Was also there to pick up a prescription which was ready per text, was told that it wasn't filled due to an insurance issue, though nobody bothered to call after the text said it was ready for pickup.
