I went have gone into this branch several times and the experiences have been very similar. This specific time one teller was on the phone the entire time, I believe she was with IT. The other teller who assisted us, Kristie Key, was truly doing an amazing job considering the circumstances. She was the only one working. She was assisting us, greeting other clients as they entered, and helping the drive thru. I did notice a gentleman in an office with Branch Leader sign on the outside. He never came out. It seems as the tellers are left to do it all and survive as best they can.

This location charged me $8 for cashing a $100 check written from a Truist account. I would understand a fee if the check were from another bank. I had driven to this location and waited until they opened because it was their account. As far as I am concerned, this bank committed theft as I had no other choice. I would never partner with this institution.

In what sense does it make for you to have 1 teller working with 4-5 people standing in line, and the branch manager is just staring at all of us not jumping in and helping and just walks back into his office, closes the door for the poor single teller to fend for herself. Lead by example….

Stuck out of town, and I can't have money deposited into my account, account constantly locked. Worst bank ever, no branch manager available to help at all. Worst bank ever. I can't tell you how many times I've been stuck out of town with a locked card, no access to my funds, no customer service whatsoever. They truly don't care about their customers at all. Do not open an account with them.

I have had an account with this merged bank for forty years, im telling you that Truist has lost sight of their customer's abysmal ratings from me. They earned poor ratings.

Recently I was given an inheritance check from the passing of my grandmother. The check was from BB &T where my grandfather has had an account his entire life. My sisters and I were each given a nice sum of money from my grandfather. I went to a BB&T to get my check cashed so I could get some repairs done, and deposit the rest of the sum into my account at my bank. They refused to do so. Even though they are the issuing bank where the account is, my grandfather's name was on the check and they even called to verify with my sister who is on the account with my grandfather. And she told them it was right. I waited over 20 minutes to be told they couldn't help me. That things could not be verified. The whole thing made me feel weird. Like I was a thief, that I was being judged for it. I took my inheritance check to South State (my bank) and they told me they did me wrong. They should have cashed that check for me. It came from their bank. It had my grandfather's signature on it. They called to verify with a person on the account. Let's just say I will NEVER EVER do ANY business of ANY kind with BB&T and I will NEVER reccomend to anyone for anything.

Went into this branch Wed. afternoon Feb. 20 th with intentions of opening acct. no one acknowledged our presence... after looking around for checking info ( found none) I finally ask someone in an office for assistance..she was with merchant svcs & said someone from teller line would be out to assist.. we saw the tellers (2) continue to help multiple others afterward, as well as work drivethru... after 10 minutes I told my husband we were leaving.. we went to city in Toccoa and opened an acct with an extremely friendly & helpful employee at Regions Bank. What a huge difference!!! We will drive further to do business with someone who gives us the services we needed...Too bad BB & T... If you don’t improve your future looks bleak....😂
