Captain John's, Eufaula

This place is absolutely fantastic. The food was off the chain. Everything was cooked to perfection. The seafood platter was exceptional. From the crab cakes to the fried catfish, it was delicious. The prices are reasonable and I will definitely be back. I would give this place a 10 out of 10.

This is our third visit here within 2 months because the food was so good the last 2 visits that I forgot to take pictures. This place feels like a hidden treasure to us. It’s mostly because we don’t really drive to Eufaula. But we will now just for this restaurant. The theme within their menu is Cajun style and it is amazing. I grew up with a Cajun parent and have not been able to find any Cajun food since. This place brought up beautiful memories as soon as I took a bite. It’s as authentic as you can find in this area. I can’t recommend this place enough. Cost was $50 for all 3 entrees. In my opinion, that’s average in today’s economy. View that in your own perspective. Highly recommend.

The food was delicious and well worth it! I recommend trying this place if you're in town. I had the grilled catfish and it was cooked and seasoned well.

Amazing, does not do this place justice. The rolls were soft buttery pillows with a good whipped butter. We had the 2lb shrimp boil and crawlfish ettuffe. The shrimp boil was perfectly cooked. Came with a clarified butter sauce and a sweet shrimp. I definitely wish I had the sweet sauce recipe. The crawlfish ettuffe had this monster brick of jalapeño and cheese cornbread. In my opinion, it needed hotsauce but that was my taste.

This was a date meal out with no kids and it was worth ever cent I paid. I willmark recommendations of what I saw and smelled in the restaurant.

I had never eaten here, tried it on a whim. I'm glad I did it was very good.

It was great being on the water, the food was excellent! Shrimp and fish was great! My only complaint was the 2 stall bathroom for the ladies.

Our favorite restaurant on the lake and a go to whether lunch or dinner! The staff is always amazing in both friendliness and service. The food is top notch! The atmosphere is perfect whether coming off the lake in your swim gear or dressing up for date night!! We are frequent visitors and enjoy the experience each time!!!

Stopped in on Saturday night, and let me just say the the food was excellent. Tons of flavor, the prices were excellent and we sat at the bar and the two bartenders were so great. They were very attentive, and friendly and we can't wait to go back!

We're visiting so we didn't know the opening time and got there at 3:20. They didn't open until 4pm so we patiently waited 40 minutes in the car. So glad we did. We got Ribeye dinner, chicken tenders, and blackened salmon. The food was deliciously delicious. Waitress was patient and attentive. The dining atmosphere was so relaxing even with kids and the lake view is beautiful. During our meal a man, owner or manager, came by and checked on us. He seemed like he really cares about our food, our visit, rather than just taking a poll! Well-done Captain John's! Oh BTW, we got unlimited steaming hot rolls with butter before dinner.

This place is awesome. Food is terrific, the atmosphere is great. The staff were all very friendly. Showed up right before the church rush on a Sunday. Food came out quick. The location is really cool, literally right on the water. Anytime I am in Eufaula, this is now my go to spot. Worth the drive for sure.

Had the most relaxing dinner, the view was fondable ,the clouds,boats birds ducks. My son had the filet mignon,it was so tender, best flavor. We had the fried catfish with hush puppies, sweet potato and salad. I ate every bite. Hats off to the chief. The waitresses were amazing. You can eat inside our out. Reminds me of the sea resturants on n the beach in California. A place to put on your bucket list.

Was going for crab Tuesday, ended up getting steak, and had to send it back way over cooked. Second, go round was better. Next time, I'll stick with my original plan. Will always be back.

We LOVE this place!! When we’re at our house in Eufaula, this is a MUST. Great service, great servers, great bar and the food is always top drawer. Well done Captain John’s!!

We went last night with friends for our reservation in the new patio igloos! Such a fun experience. They had games and a fireplace in each igloo and it was well lit. They had 1 dining and 2 lounge igloos. You have to make a reservation and it is for 2 hours for $40. The wait staff was excellent and we never had to wait long for anything. The floor manager even came by to check on us. Food was delicious as always.

This was my first visit, I was in town on vacation. We we're referred by a friend. The place was packed. We waited around 40 minutes to be seated. The food was amazing! I wish we had one of these restaurants in Texas. I loved everything about the place! ❤❤❤

We are there for my husband's birthday. It was our first visit but definitely not our last. Destine S was fabulous. The food was amazing and we loved the lake front atmosphere. We highly recommend.

Now one of my favorite food spots in Oklahoma! Everything was perfect. We hung out here several times while in town.

Had the pork chop. First time trying it. Usually do shrimp or gumbo.
I'll tell you here, that was the best pork chop I've ever eaten!
Thick, tender, moist, with a great seasoning.
I think I may like that better than a steak.
Try it!

Whether your in the mood for seafood, Cajun, or just food they have some good choices to please the crowd and taste buds. Their steaks are AWESOME and reasonably price and you get a good cut as well. Crab cakes are addicting. Their red bean and rice is off the hook. Shrimp is good and their burgers are great too. Tired of ff eat their onion rings, they are very good and so are their sweet potatoes. Both Eufala and McAlester locations are a great place to eat.

A hostess and the owner were very helpful with getting me to the right place for a community event. So, I decided to return for a late lunch.

My Cesar Salad with Blackened Shrimp, recommended by Kaci, my WONDERFUL waitress, was great! Kaci was a friendly, helpful, and efficient waitress! The location is beautiful!
