I'm so glad there's a local bookstore in CC. They have a great collection of books, and the owner is friendly. I enjoyed conversations with him about his journey to opening his bookstore, and our love for books. Definitely recommend visiting here! Support your local bookstore!

I highly recommend going to this local bookstore!! It has a great collection of used books at great prices! The owner is knowledgeable about the books available and different authors. I told him I liked horror and he recommended FIVE authors I’ve never read. All his recommendations were great and I left with all five books,, my total was about $26!! We had a great discussion about authors we enjoyed and titles we were searching for as well. Jinx, the face of the company lol, was sleeping in her chair. I was visiting from three hours away but next time I plan a weekend trip to Corpus Christi,, I will be stopping by again for a great deal on pre-loved books and a nice conversation!! (Hopefully,, Jinx will be awake next time lol)

This place is the best locally owned bookstore. So many different types of books and Carter and Jinx the cat are always there to help you find what you want.

The new location is the best, there are so many great books like half non fiction and have fiction, lots of history books and even a few ver old like 1900 old books. All the books were reasonably priced imo. The cat is so sweet she let me pet her and even came up to me after I walked away. Yes parking is minimal but that's expected downtown. Will definitely be coming back

The cutest bookstore with a great variety. They also have board games to play and the sweetest owner. Loved my experience

Big selection in a small space. Wonderful little gem. My husband and I love finding used bookstores and we will miss this one when we head back to San Antonio. The adorable black cat literally greeted us at the door. The owner was very warm and welcoming.

Carter graciously assisted my 81-yr old mother and me (49) in collecting a quirky armful of fun books. I posed an unusual topic, and he knew EXACTLY where every option was on the shelves. The prices were fair, and who doesn’t love a book shop with a cat!!

Classic used bookstore, with an interesting selection and good prices. The owner is very knowledgeable and passionate about books. He recommended two titles I wasn't familiar with, and they sound perfect for me. I'll definitely stop in whenever I'm in town.

Filled to the brim with book options at absolutely unbeatable prices. The owner was super friendly and helpful. Found some great books and cant wait to come back. There’s also a really cool older/special edition section with beautiful and rare finds. Plus, there is a cafe next door, so you can pop over for a treat and start right away on your new read! 😊

We stopped by earlier today and loved it. Jinx was the star of the shop, but the owner was incredibly kind and knowledgeable and nice to talk with. Also loved to see local artwork being sold there. Definitely a place we'll be visiting often

My husband and I stopped in to check this great little book store out. Not only did I find several great books, but we also found the cutest little friendly black cat. How can you have a better book store experience than having a look while being able to pet such a cute little creature?

As soon as we stepped inside we were greeted by Jinx the stores black cat who was so friendly and cute! The bookstore is neat, nice selection and a really helpful gentleman helped us with some great recommendations.

Books are everything. Knowledge is important in everyday affairs. Start having fun w/reading to your child at an early age. Black cat books has a variety of books for children to adults. They have great prices , are very friendly and helpful.

Digital is all fine and good but sometimes you need that analog feel, something you can put your hands on, and yes, even smell, the good kind of scent, of old books. Some things in life always make sense. Support an independent bookstore and do yourself a favor, buy a book to read. More than likely you'll find something here you won't find somewhere else in town. This is a small bookstore. Carter (owner) is very helpful, and if you like cats, especially black cats, Jinx is here to guide you, figuratively speaking of course.

Half price books has books half price. Black cat books has books 75% off it seems like most books were heavily discounted and they even have a black cat in the store. Definitely worth it to check out

Noticed this very cool book shop on the way to have coffee and am so glad we popped in. Saw a lot of good books and was able to take a couple home loved the black cat and lil pup.
