River Bend Resort

So conveniently located on the Russian River but I felt worlds away. The camp sites are beautiful and well maintained. My son had so much fun completing the scavenger hunt when we arrived. Shoutout to Evan for helping us complete the hunt! Great playgrounds, evening movie, crafts and of course beautiful river access. We are already planning our return trip this summer and making this an annual Mother’s Day weekend tradition.

We tent camp here and love the access to the river! We have only gone during the week and it is quiet and peaceful! We loved floating from Sunset beach back to the resort this trip! The bathrooms are well kept and clean. The vibe is awesome!

Stunning campground, this place has it all. You have a private beach, movies at night in their open air theater, well stocked general store and super clean facilities. The campground is very picturesque with many photo opportunities. I kept finding interesting sculptures and super cute details all around. The place is good for families, a romantic getaway or group of frien. You feel very safe as it is a private campground and you receive an armband to show you are staying there. Every camp site came with a clean well built fire pit and a large sturdy picnic table, the ground was even to set up a tent and there were so many trees and even bamboo that offer shade at all hours. There is a pub next door if you don’t feel like cooking and if you have a car I highly suggest Golden Coast Coffee and Bakery for daily baked fresh goods and then head up to The General Store in Duncan Mills and get their home made jalapeño cheddar bread, you will not be disappointed. Stomptown Brewery was also lovely with great views of the river and tasty food.

Last week, we went camping and had a great time. The campsite was clean, spacious, and the staff were incredibly friendly. We were impressed by the fact that the restrooms were cleaned regularly throughout the day and even at night.

We absolutely loved it! The staff was so nice! The place was clean and gorgeous. It was the perfect glamping trip for myself and my family. We will be back!

River Bend Resort is the Best camping spot on the Russian River! Very dog friendly! We got a spot right next to a put-in for our canoe and very close to their private beach. We saw river otters and I loved the hum of the crickets at night which put me right to sleep. The bathrooms were the cleanest of any campsite I’ve ever been to and they picked up the trash and recycling in our camp area twice a day. Very well kept! And everyone was super nice and very informative about the area! We are coming back for sure!

This is an amazing place. All of the staff members are incredibly kind and welcoming. If you have any problems or needs it seems like they will do everything they can to help make your stay as good as possible. We had lots of fun doing the crafts and activities in the evening. They even reopened the cotton candy maker for us after they had turned it off. There is a fun arcade and they play movies at night. Plus the river is amazing for swimming, paddle boarding, rock jumping and so much more. No matter which type of site you are staying in, the amazing staff, fun activities, and beautiful river
make for an absolute 10 out of 10 experience.

Everything you need for a wonderful stay. Staff is very friendly and the Russian River is a nice get away. Highly recommend the pub for wings and Pliny the Elder on tap for the beer drinkers.

Thank you for the wonderful and friendly experience. I was able to rent one of the RV sites and camp there with my Tesla.

The staff are friendly, the bathroom were cleaned and overall it was a wonderful experience.

Love this place. The family has been about five times. You learn to get to the river early and there is lots for kids to do. Full hook ups and many tent sites. Also there are new cabins and some cool looking VW buses you can rent. The water is always amazing and I always wish we stayed a day or two longer.

Our family LOVES River Bend! We have camped here many time and most recently stayed in their new Stumptown Cabins which were awesome for our family of four. We went with a large group, they offer so many activities for kids and adults. So easy to kick back and have fun outside, you don’t even need to set up a tent. Take advantage of the awesome location near the river, wineries and nearby bike paths. Enjoy!

My family and I absolutely loved our stay. We booked the same weekend as a few other families we knew and had such a great time gathered around the main fire pit. Access to the river is easy. The little general store is adorable and well stocked (I forgot so many things 🤦🏼‍♀) TONS of stuff for the kids to do. Dog friendly! We will be back for sure.

We have camped here several times now spread out. But now we have made it traditional yearly camping. Booking our 3rd annual trip right now!
Love it or obviously would not be booking again.
Dogs are allowed with breed restrictions. The private beach is amazing & makes the cost worth it to have your own little section of river to use!!
The tent spots we have booked have what we need to camp a few nights. Fire pit picnic tables water taps and clean accessible bathrooms near by.
Quick nature walk to the beautiful beach. Which is rocky! Water shoes are a must!! But honestly it's nice not having sand all over everything. As for the store- they offer air to pump up tubes deliver wood & ice. Have many items incase you forget something. Also there's a general market about 5 minutes down the road.
And a local pub next door with bar food and beer incase you don't feel like camp cooking one night!
Our kids always meet other kids while here. They run around, come back asking for more quarters to play more arcade games and enjoy being kids! Which is the biggest reason we come. Kids with no electronics in site. Having fun being kids!! Meanwhile we relax around campfire. Also with no electronics soaking the quiet life in!
We love that we get the feeling of being far away from the world without actually being in the boonies - it's an hour & half drive for us from marin area. But feels a million miles away.
Anyways we love it here. Can't wait to come back this summer 2023!
Can't say enough good things about Riverbend. ( slightly annoying and only issue we encountered was in our tent sites a camper was allowed to enter) sites were for tents only but gentleman I asked about why they can have a camper here said " if they can get it over thr bridge that's all that matters " reason this is annoying is campers have generators, doors that kids slam over and over plus it was a huge eye sore blocking the nature views. This although annoying won't stop us from coming back. Just was annoying.

Definitely a perfect spot for kids! They have such amazing staff! The property is cleaned non stop which is amazing! Family & pet friendly! We stayed in the cabins and I have to say we will be back again for sure it is our new spot! Hay rides, tree house, arts and craft day, movie projector night, arcades, park, and beach all in one spot like seriously what more can you ask for?!

They were very helpful, even brought us firewood and helped us start the fire. Free showers, and inflation station for the inflatables. Everything reasonably priced in the general store.

My family and I have been coming to this lovely campground place for years. The clever owners continue to make this campground more magical every year. This year, we stayed in the brand new Stumptown cabins. They were so comfortable - great beds and the linens were amazing! If you get a chance to meet the owners, stop and talk to them. They have a ton of knowledge about the history of the area - and the staff is really kind and knowledgeable about the area. We will be back for all seasons and Riverbend Resort is definitely a year round destination!

Really nice campground next to the river. Friendly staff and well maintained facilities. There's a pool table, arcade, and children's play area. We come here every year and have a great time.

A great places for tenting with a group! Water access is unbeatable. Lots of things for kids to do scavenger hunt, movie nights, snow cones, and crafts.

We stayed in June with several other families and this place was exactly what we needed after being cooped up from Covid. Very family friendly place, lots to do, and the staff was super nice. Great beach area to hang at the river, and I liked how the resort was split up with the different type of campers--enabling people to RV, Yurt/Cabin, or tent camp. Highly recommend based on our time, will probably be returning next year as well. Mikayla, Colette, Colby, & Debbie were awesome.

This is my second time camping at River Run and I love it here. We had campsite 37, and although it was small, it worked for two people and provided an excellent view of the river. The employees were all very accommodating and the store had a good amount of items (condiments, logs, ice, beer, and food). I know people were complaining about no wifi, but we had it at our campsite. It was of course packed on Labor Day, but the day after was almost completely empty and it was awesome!
