La Retama Central Library

This is not our closest library, but visiting this big historic building with the broad staircase and sculptures feels special, and they have a great children's room and local history room, so we come periodically. It still makes me sad that they closed the reference desk, but I appreciate their nice events. We also like to pop into Blucher Park during a visit. There is always nature to see there.

Very cool library with books packed with knowledge there are many photos of the history of corpus christi Texas up stairs.

Very pleasant atmosphere, professionally staffed. Equipped with all the equipment expected of a modern library. Very thankful Nueces County provides a free library to it's citizens!
