Words can't express how special The 513 is to our hearts! Having our wedding there was by far the best decision we made about our wedding. The space was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our large sized wedding. The bartenders exceeded our expectations and our guests couldn't stop talking about how great they were! We had the perfect space for dancing and the two floors allowed for plenty of space for our guests. Although communication leading up to the big day was a little challenging, the team exceeded our expectations on our beautiful wedding day. They helped guide us in making some tough decisions about the bar package etc, and made our day so special! Thank you to the team :)

Had my daughters wedding here and it was great! Staff was very helpful when needed and attended to the guests needs quickly. Only complaint is that it was a bit too warm in the venue.

Attended a beautiful wedding at this venue - it was absolutely perfect!! The food was great, the space was wonderful for dancing, and the wraparound balcony was an ideal place to view all of the festivities from above :) Would gladly come to another wedding here!

We had our wedding at The 513 and Heather was amazing to work with! All of my ideas and desires were considered and delivered on. When I forgot to discuss something they reached out and were willing to help in any way possible. As a bride it was reassuring that they were ready to take care of any issue, should it have risen and work with all my vendors to make my day special and seamless. The space was beautiful and the staff was friendly! I love this venue!

The 513 makes me want to buy and old building and renovate it! But really, the 513 crew did an amazing job at preserving this building and showing off its best features. This venue is literally a blank canvas! After our first glance at the venue, we knew it was the one! Having the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception in one place was huge for us, not all venues are able to do that (especially within price range.) They were with us every step of the way, Kaitlyn is the most sweetest and relaxed human being ever, we appreciate all of her hard work!! We couldn't have asked for a better day! Our guests were in aw, they said "it was the most beautiful wedding they ever attended." Also, the bartenders were THE BEST! They were on top of everything and so friendly and personable. Thank you again to everyone including the bouncer for keeping us safe!

Attended a wedding here over the weekend. A gorgeous wedding venue for sure. Just enough decoration to know it was the holidays, and done very elegant and classy. The bartenders were all friendly and fast! They also were making great drinks per the many requests of our family ;) The ambiance, acoustics are very good. I can see why the couple picked this venue!!!

The 513 is a perfect space for a reception. The event space is large, yet charming, with lots of personality, from the old wood floors to the high ceiling and the fun front windows. The second floor mezzanine was a good place to be able to sit down to dinner and still be able to watch the action and be part of the party. Downstairs there was plenty of space to move around even with a lot of people. The location is fantastic. There are several spots from a coffee shop to a couple of micro breweries to entertain guests until the party gets rolling back at the 513. We attended a very special wedding celebration there and this unique space helped make the day unforgettable. I am looking forward to seeing how the space can be customized for another event.

We attended a wedding at The 513. It was such a perfect place for a wedding! There were so many great places inside for fantastic pictures, and plenty of room for dancing. The owners have done a really great job with updating the space while still keeping the classic look of it. We had such a great time, and I would recommend the space for events of any size!

I went to a wedding there in February that was absolutely amazing. The wrap around balcony provides a wonderful space that is a little quieter while not feeling seperated from the rest of the reception. Perfect for when you are catching up with someone but then hear that song that makes you run out to the dance floor.

Beautiful venue! Attended a wedding there in the winter with hundreds of people but with the mezzanine it never felt crowded. Lots of fun at The 513! Highly recommend. Great location as well, super close to hotels, bars, and restaurants.

a beautiful venue to host a wedding or any special event. The Staff was great to work with and very professional. I highly recommend if you are looking for an event space. Plenty of room for large parties but quaint enough for even smaller groups. This is going to be "The Place" to hold and event.

Best venue in the Fox Valley, no question! My fiancé and I were there for a wedding and loved it so much that we booked it for our wedding later this year. Perfect amount of space on the 1st floor for dancing and entertaining. Additionally, the 2nd floor mezzanine provides a quiet place to unwind and catch up while still feeling like you’re a part of the party (perfect for those with little kids). If you’re searching for a venue in the area, The 513 should be at the top of your list.

Was here for a wedding back in February and had an awesome time. The place is beautiful, tons of history, but kind of a sleeper in that regard. It's not hitting you over the face with a "royal palace" vibe that really clashes with a modern wedding, but it also doesn't scream industrial like a brewery or warehouse would. There's a fine balancing act being played that lets you feel the character while you're there, but not overshadow the event you're at. Case in point: the main staircase. It's beautifully made and you can appreciate that when you're using them, or when you first get there, but in pictures it doesn't take the main focus. You can focus on the people instead.
Basically, I felt the history from the bones of the space, not because it yelled "look at how old I am" in my face all night.
Fixtures are modern transitional and the space seemed really well utilized. There are a lot of nooks and crannys, so I could separate from the dancing on the main floor without feeling like I was missing out, but also seemed like it kept a huge amount of people moving, engaged.
There aren't a lot of well done, historical places like this. Location is second to none also. Right in a busy part of College ave, walking distances to tons of hotels, bars, coffee shops, parks. Recommended

You can make the space what you need for any type of event!

Even though you can make it what you want/need the space has character from the moment you walk in. You walk in to a beautifully tiled entrance. Then the large chandeliers and grand space is exciting and open. There are large windows, which make it better than most ballrooms and allow for great photos with natural light. You get to enjoy the charm of historic downtown Appleton and have a private party. The owners are thinking of everything to make events work with ease in the space.

It makes a great space for weddings, graduation parties, office retreats, Christmas parties and so much more.

Downtown Appleton is lucky to be adding a unique space to its list of venues on College Ave!

Attended a wedding here and it was a beautiful venue. The hosts were able to accommodate quite a bit of people. Staff was great and very polite. Highly recommend this venue especially for how close it is to the hotels downtown.

We provided DJ service at 513 for a wedding in June. The space is in a great spot in downtown Appleton, and the inside is classic and timeless. The great staircase provides a perfect entrance and elegant backdrop. The staff is great as well. We highly recommend as a wedding venue in Appleton.
