Great time floating with Dean on the Big Horn. Got super lucky with a beautiful day. Dean is very knowledgeable about the river - which holes are prime to fish, which flies are hot, and how to improve your cast. We had some big guys on and netted some big fish too! He even stopped to let us jump in the river when it got too hot! Overall great experience and would absolutely go out on another float with him.

It’s always a good time fishing with Dean. He’s knowledgeable about the area and what the fish are eating. He is really good at teaching in a way that’s easy to understand and doesn’t overwhelm you with feedback. And we always have a good laugh.

Great Guy knowledgeable. He has a nice boat works hard to get you on fish. He has everything you need, if you need anything special I am sure he would get it for you. I always catch fish when I go with Dean.

A few years back i went fishing with Dean and John having never fly fished before and had an awesome time learning and getting into it! I go back every year now and it’s one of the highlights of my year! Incredible guides, gear, and experience!

Dean...how can I thank you enough for SUCH an AWESOME experience on The Bighorn (a lifelong dream of mine to fish). You were THE BEST guide I have ever fished with, from Michigan to Montana and beyond.
You were also the most unpretentious guide ever, yet THE MOST prepared guide ever (hello, you seem to have eighty thousand flies, at least!!!)
You were also the best fishing instructor ever....... I say that as a pretty experienced (20 years) flyfisherwoman.

These folks run a top quality personalized shop great service great people in a wonderful area with detailed knowledge of the local fisheries I have fished all over the western United States and elsewhere and Dean and his crew are great.
