A couple of weeks ago, we had to put our beautifu 14 year old blue heeler down. Was such a rough decision, but he was suffering. The people at Startzville vet were so compassionate. They really helped us through an unbearable situation, and we really appreciated that. They helped him go peacefully with no pain. I can't thank them enough

I can not say enough good things about Starz Vet. They have always gone above and beyond for not only my pets (5 dogs) but me as well. Front the girls at the front desk to all the techs to the vets they are outstanding at taking the time to talk, diagnose and treat. They care for my pets as one of their own and it is so apparent they love their jobs!! When one of our beloved dogs was in his final moments they made sure to provide the care and service and gave me the time he deserved. I will not forget their kindness and generosity! I highly recommend Startz Vet to everyone!!

I went to 3 other vets before I settled on Startz. I’m very protective of my little fur baby. Dr. McGee is very patient and let me verbalize all my worries which I discovered were nothing to be concerned about after all. She always does a thorough exam and explains everything in depth to me. She even put together a wonderful book you can flip through with super good information while waiting in the exam room. The technicians are always really sweet with Lenny while getting his nails trimmed or whatever and the ladies at the front desk are super nice on the phone and in person while scheduling or checking out etc. I would highly recommend this veterinary clinic and I’ve been a nurse for 42 years.

I had my dog’s nails trimmed and did a grind. I always ask for Tanner - she is amazing with my dog. She is very professional and kind. I never have any trouble - she does a beautiful job!

I've been to this veterinarian for two of my beloved fur babies - once for my dachshund for a teeth cleaning, and the other for help with my hedgehog. Both experiences were wonderful, although one was rather difficult. The most recent visit to Startz Vet sealed the deal for me. I had to make the hard decision to put my hedgehog down. They were able to see me same-day after calling, which saved my hedgie a ton of pain and suffering. When I walked in, it was really busy.. but they were quick to greet me with the most loving hug, kindness, and move my husband and I into a quiet space to spend as much time as needed to say goodbye to our pokey friend Moomi. I will always remember the compassion and gentle care they gave to us on this sad day. It doesn't matter what kind of animal, big or small - they treat all animals with the same compassion and care. Out of all the veterinarians we have used in the past, I will always make the trek from Seguin to Startz Veterinary Clinic because I know it's worth it for our family's peace of mind and our pet's wellness. I am absolutely blown away by this Vet Clinic. My husky got bit by something near her mouth. My current mobile vet couldn't see me, and for the first time i think ever, one of my animals had an emergency not on the weekend or in the middle of the night. When I told them what was going on, they said they were very busy but if my primary vet couldn't see us, they would get us in and take care of us. And that they did, i called them back 30 min later and they immediately said bring her in. We were there within 15 min and they had her back immediately. They got her taken care of and on our way back home in 30 min flat. I immediately transferred both of my dogs care to them moving forward. If you read all of this, then you know that you shouldn't hesitate to take your furbabies here. They love our animals, are VERY reasonably priced, and incredibly friendly. I absolutely love this vet, I would not bring my babies any where else. They have taken great care of Bijou, Waylon , Doc, Sampson, Genuiss and of course my Roxi Girl. My Roxi had to be put down and for the month or so before I think I called at least 3 times a day she was having lots of issues which they were doing all they could . But not once did they ever get annoyed with me or should anything other than patience, and always was very comforting. It was very har for me to make the decision to have her put down and they never rushed me they talked to me whenever I needed ,answered all the questions which were many. I remember them telling me I was Roxi's voice and I knew her better than anyone . It was then that I knew what needed done. They were so compassionate when I brought her in did not rush gave us time alone with her to say our goodbyes and just love on her. They truly made a hard time a little easier. I will never take my fur babies or my grandpups anywhere else!

I use Startz for my pets veterinary care and I kennel my dog there. As always they are friendly and professional. I trust them with the care of my pets.

We've had many vets in the last 40 years, caring for eight kitties. Since we've been in the Hill Country, we've found two of the best. I can't say enough about Startz Vet; they just took care of Gracie's passing.

Marissa answered the phone, which was the first indication that we had an excellent clinic close to home. She is amazing.

When their doctors and staff are available —late afternoon—they can make home visits for a reasonable fee. When we called, that service was available. Dr. Kaufman & Tanner arrived, and they're exceptional. Kind, gentle, and they were not in a hurry. It was clear they love what they do, and they care about helping in every way. {We had to let Gracie go as she had progressive heart failure. She became one of our outdoor kitties about 18 months ago, and we brought her inside when the cold hit last February. It was clear she was older, but we didn't know how old. One of the sweetest kitties. We'll miss her.}

Dr. Kaufman and the staff are amazing! They go ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure your pets are comfortable and recevie top quality care. They have reasonable and affordable pricing. We have used Startz Vet since 2019 and could not be happier.

They worked with us to get our rescue lab fixed after we found out unexpectedly the rescue organization missed this detail. Our rescue also had extreme anxiety and they made sure she was as comfortable as the could make her during her visits and helped us navigate her mental health.

Most recently, our 16 week old kitten got in an accident and needed stitches in his mouth. Dr. Kaufman and his staff were able to very quickly assess the damage and get him fixed up and back home.

We have also used Startz Vet boarding services and were very pleased with the cleanliness and extra loving our pets received. Overall, they have provided us THE best experience over 20 years with 3 different veterinarians. We will be customers for life!

The entire staff here is amazing. Thank you for guiding my father thru the process of letting his sweet STAR cross the Rainbow Bridge. Tanner was grest!
