Chuck's Southside

This was our first time trying them out and throughly enjoyed the poblano burger and the fried chicken sandwich with Chipotle honey glaze. Hand cut fries where awesome too!

They make sandwiches mostly the folks here are really friendly. And the food tastes very good . I give this place a 5 star for both quality and quantity.

Skip the exits before and after Lumberton with their stale chain food options….get some South (Mississippi and Miami) in your mouth instead!

We had the BLFGT and The Florida Man sandwiches with coleslaw and mac n cheese sides. WOW! And we’d been eating for a month prior in New Orleans.

BLFGT: Bacon 4/6? strips of crispy goodness piled on thick cut sweet/sour crusted fried green tomatoes on super buttered toasted bread.

Miami Man: a perfect rendition of a classic Cuban sandwich on Cuban bread roll thick with roast pork, ham, Swiss and garnishes press toasted to perfection.

Coleslaw: crisp sliced cabbage, creamy, slightly sweet dressing, tasted like made that day, lovely front of house server said it’s even better the next day if any is left!

Mac n cheese: light and cheesy, perfect

We were the only highway castaways during our time there…don’t let it stay that way.

Lots of locals eating there or taking out, mostly burger orders. If they make burgers like they make sandwiches, Lumberton is one lucky town.

For vegans there’s a portabella mushroom sandwich that sounds first rate.

A little hard to spot…from highway go just past the Mexican restaurant and look on the right for small building with flags and umbrellas…set back from road. Funeral home across the street. If you cross RR tracks, turn around. They’re working on better signs.

It's in the Davis Auto sales lot. It has a great outdoor seating area and plenty of parking.

The food is very good and made fresh. The waiting time was very reasonable.

This small roadside burger shop is so much more than a burger joint. They have several non-burgdr sandwiches, including an amazing BLFGT (bacon, lettuce, fried green tomato) sandwich! The generous portion of thick cut bacon was cooked to crispy perfection. The portion of the hand-cut fries (the included side I chose) was also very generous, and they were delicious. The seating is limited to 2 picnic tables with umbrellas and bar stools along a covered counter area. There were 10 of us the first time we dined at Chuck's, and everyone raved over their different sandwiches.

This place has such good food. I have found nothing that I did not like yet. They do home cut fries ( get an extra order) They also do kettle chips to order. I think if I had to pick one sandwich it would be anything with grilled chicken.
The people here are such wonderful people and a big ++ for the community.

Great customer service and great food!! The gentleman who took my order was very polite and friendly. Would definitely be going back for more!

One of the best burgers I've ever had! The staff there are some of the friendliest people. Would recommend this place to anyone to go try!

My husband and I stopped to give Chuck's Southside a taste. I ate the Fried Chicken sandwich and my husband ate the Florida Man/Cubin sandwich. Both Delicious 😋 and we will go back to try more

My mom and I ate at Chucks today in Lumberton it was awesome I got the hamburger and she ate the fried chicken sandwich the homemade fries was was so good

I was floored by the awesome flavor in the hamburger and the fries were just right, not greasy at all!

Fried chicken sammy was delish!! And the fries were amazing. Hot and fresh!

Traveling for work and found this little gem through Google. So glad we stopped. Menu selection is great and the food is even better. Definitely stop here!

Great Muffaletta and Cuban. Large portions for price. Friendly staff. Will stop here again. limited seating.
