Pine Tree Market literally has nearly everything you need. If you came into town with barely enough food, they have it all: Bread, deli meat, butter, oatmeal, coffee, snacks, essential oils, a ton of over the counter drugs, fresh produce, and much more. In addition, the staff were extremely nice and helpful. “We try to have nearly everything you need so you don’t have to go out of the park.”

How could you give this little store anything less than 5 stars?? It’s the perfect little trading post for a small town like this! They have the essentials and then some. Plus, the lady that was working the counter was very nice.

I enjoy traveling, and have traveled to many of our country’s great national parks. I can honestly say that I have not been to a better market/ grocery store inside a national park. Pine tree market saved me from having to exit the park to get any of my needs throughout my weeks stay. Had everything I needed and the quality was exceptional and far exceeded my expectations.

Considering the location, this is a great selection of meats, food, and produce, all the stuff you need for a gourmet feast! Or a snack. And great service as well!

We stopped for supplies in Oakhurst thinking there would be very limited choices in Wawona. I wish I had known in advance about Pine Tree Market. They carried everything we needed. And they gave suggestions and advice on what to do in the area! Loved the look and feel of the place. Friendly - I felt like I was back in 1950's - a real community market where people know each other.

great local store with food, wine, beers and supplies. We prefer to stock up here for our Yosemite btrios has it has all the right items.

Bonus three flavors of Its It's for a treat after a long hike.

When Michael first took over I asked if he could carry lemonade and the next day it was there... So happy today to resupply our time in Wawona and lemonade still available :)

What a cute little store. My wife and I stopped in to see if we could get coffee or tea. We did. We also left with some local art and other souvenirs. We also expanded our historical knowledge of the area courtesy of the guy behind the counter (owner possibly). The store is stuffed with an amazing amount of goods of all types. Thank you and we will stop in again next time we are in Wawona.

This is the best store and most welcoming store I have ever been in. It is family owned and has a little bit of everything. Talking to any of the staff that work there you can see and feel that they truly care about your experience in the store and inside the park. They have amazing local knowledge and are great resources if there are any questions while you are checking out. I will come back to the store every single time I am In the area.

Traveled into the park with a small overflowing cooler. We wanted to stop for a few forgotten camping necessities (i.e. a lighter, spatula, etc.) and pick up some beer, despite not having the room to keep it cold. The owner offered to lend his larger cooler to us right there on the spot. Such a genuinely kind thing to offer to us as we began our trip. Highly recommend this spot for the basics you may need while visiting. The customer service is welcoming and friendly!

The new owners are amazing and super friendly. I had forgotten my gas canister and they went to a different store to get us one, and now make sure they keep them in stock for forgetful backpackers. They were angels and I will never forget their kindness. They also had fabulous fruits and snacks for our drive home.

Pine Tree Market is a beautiful market right in Wawona. It has everything you can possibly need. What makes it even more special is that the owner, Michael, is the most genuine man. He was so incredibly helpful with my group. He gave us amazing advice for Yosemite and honestly his advice made it the best day that we had in Yosemite! Such a kind soul with an amazing business! Definitely stop at his market if you are in Wawona/Yosemite!

Pine Tree Market is the best. We are so grateful for all of the help and resources Michael provided us with during our trip. We were without power for several days, and he had plenty of groceries/firewood and tips for us on local attractions. He was also our only source of social interaction during this time, so that in itself was a lifesaver. THANK YOU and see you in warmer days to come!

We arrived in Wawona expecting there to be places to dine but nothing was available. So glad we had Pine Tree Market. Amazingly for such a small store it had absolutely everything we needed foodwise, including a surprisingly wide wine selection and a super-helpful lady at the checkout to advise on unfamiliar Californian labels. What a find.

This was a gem in the middle of the woods. Unfortunately we found out about it , 2 days after we arrived ed to Yosemite. This store had everything we needed for outdorr expirience. We had already gone to all the big unpesonal stores in the village . These stores lacked inventory, and personal touch. Mike the store owner let us borrow his speaker, charge our phones, and went over and beyond to be friendly and helpful.

Pine Tree Market, and the rangers that directed me there, saved my life during a snowstorm. I had been stranded for hours one morning after the roads iced over. I couldn’t go back to Fish Camp, and I couldn’t drive over the icy passes in the park.

Without cell signal, and without tire chains, I had been stranded nearby with no way to call roadside and no way to move very far. Not only did Pine Tree Market have the tire chains I needed, they had high quality ones. Mike even came out into the snow to patiently teach me how to put them on (I’m from Florida), instruct me on how to drive with the chains equipped, and send me safely on my way into Yosemite with a hot cup of coffee.

Later that evening, after a fierce day of snow, I was able to return to Fish Camp unharmed in spite of absolutely treacherous conditions and a very snow-unfriendly vehicle.

As I approached Tenaya Lodge in the dark, traffic slowed to a scene where six or seven cars, each without chains, had slid sideways down a pitched curve and into a ditch due to a 1/4” thick sheet of ice. The tow truck that came to retrieve them met the same fate.

Because of Mike, I did not.

Thank you for everything that morning. Your kindness rescued me many times over.

Very well stocked general store. Most meat items are frozen, however, you can ask the clerk if they have anything fresh refrigerated, which they usually have. Plenty of food items, as well as an assortment of camping needs, magazine rack, local artwork, and fishing supplies. Great ice cream selection. Well worth a stop when visiting Wawona.
