Incredible!! Very fast service and everyone is extremely nice! Our entire experience was stellar. Our food was phenomenal and our waiter was excellent. We also were shocked when we got our bill and it was so much lower than we expected from such an amazing dining experience. We will be back again and again and again! We planned our next visit during dessert

First visit! We were sat almost immediately, a bit after 1pm. Our waiter brought over chips, salsa and our drinks. It took literally less than 10 minutes for the food to come out. Delicious lunch sized portions. We were there less than 30 minutes total. Would definitely return.

Stopped in with a friend for lunch and was not disappointed. Ordered a banana daiquiri and a burrito. Food came out hot, fresh and quickly and the daiquiri was quite refreshing.

Was looking full but got seated right away! Both of us ordered from the house speciality menu and were more than delighted with our meals. Pitcher of their house margarita was a great deal. Service was top notch and we left feeling happy and well taken care of.

I had dinner here with 8 friends recently. I had the Fiesta Fries and Avocado Tacos, and it was all delicious! Our waitress was attentive, and service was quick with our large group. Their prices are very reasonable, and their chips and salsa are the best around!

We have eaten here 3 times, and will likely continue to about once a week while we are here for the next several months.
For Southerners, it's hard eating in NE. So far, this is the best food we've had in the area *by far.*

The second time we visited, they were slammed when we got there. We had come straight from work in the solar field and needed to wash our hands, and we were patient and more than happy to wait a few minutes. A lady got up from the bar where she had been visiting with another customer and it looked like she was eating a meal herself, and harassed the hostess about us waiting. I assumed from several factors that she was an owner or manager. She upset the poor girl so much that I saw her wiping angry tears from her eyes a few minutes later in the restroom. It was very unfortunate and I would much rather have just waited patiently. We had EXCELLENT servers and extremely quick service the first two visits. The third visit, also just coming from work, they were again slammed. We recognized both waitresses, who seemed to be the only ones, as our two prior servers. They were PRESSED, and again, we were happy to wait and much on chips and salsa.
Unfortunately, the woman from before decided that she should serve us instead, despite the facts that: tonight she was also bartending, she either isn't a good server at all or didn't have time for a table and the bar, she's rude af, and I really, really just don't like her and would rather never have to interact with her again... But hey, it's the best food in town. She never once refilled our drinks, let them sit empty half the meal, and she charged me for salsa (that she actually paid for).

The other servers and host and hostess and the gentlemen who bring food and salsa are all friendly, sweet, funny, efficient, fast, and kind.

The food is great, huge portions, reasonably priced especially for Maine near a large tourist area, and the inside of the restaurant is clean, lovely, and comfortable. The bar is especially beautiful. I have heard from numerous co-workers that the margaritas are phenomenal but haven't yet tried them. Oh, and we ordered the fried cheesecake on our first visit, since it was my birthday, and mmmm, delicious!

*I get the enchiladas rancheras every time. It is a little greasy sometimes, but it's ALWAYS delicious. Being covered in pork, that's not unexpected on either count. It is much less greasy when ordered AS stated on the menu, with red sauce. Adding cheese sauce as I did the first two times seems to be not ideal. Still darn good either way, though.

***Updating because we've eaten here 2-4x a month since February (it's now almost June):
The bartender is...I think just sometimes grumpy, and bless her heart she has RBF. Sometimes she's actually very pleasant. And she's never been rude again after those first two times, so I really think I may have caught her on a bad week. And look... She's ALWAYS there. I'd be stressed, too.
The food is reliably, consistently phenomenal, as is ALL the rest of the staff and service. The pick two combo doesn't have a bad option. The al pastor is AUTHENTIC af, everything is bursting with flavor, and it's hands down the best food in Ellsworth.

Real Mexican food in Maine! This was a word of mouth recommendation to us. While a good Mexican restaurant is hard to find in Maine this one fits the bill. We were seated quickly for lunch and after placing the order the food arrived sooner than expected and hot. The service was attentive but not rushed. They served chips and salsa to start. I had the El Rancho combination plate of Chile Relleno and Taco with beans and cream salad; and my wife had the Speedy Gonzalez combination plate of One Taco, Enchilada with rice or beans. Both dishes were great. Any time we're in the area at meal time we'll be stopping in for a meal.

What a gem of a restaurant. The food is authentic Mexican. It came out very quickly. Our party of 6 got tacos, fajitas, and enchiladas. It was all exceptional but I think the refried beans were my favorite Drinks were delicious and not overly sugary. Portions were quite large. Service was friendly and attentive. The business owner came out several times to chat with us. Don’t miss this on your way out of Acadia.

Fast. Reasonably priced. Delicious. Excellent service. Nothing I can complain about with this place. The fajitas arrived with at least enough for two meals AND had red and yellow peppers mixed in! They gave me an extra packet of tortillas for the leftovers. My son ordered a quesadilla and ate all of it happily. Go here.

Large extensive menu. Great combo plates so you can try several things. Flavorful and fresh veggies on all the plates.

Have gone around 8x for take out. Love the bag of tortilla chips and salsa they give with order.
Have tried burrito jalisco, arrow con Pollo, dinner combo that has 5 or 6 different things to try.
Everything fresh . Large 2 meal servings.
Reasonable price. Around $15-20 for 1 person
Love it Highly recommend.
Parking lot and restaurant always busy but never have waited more than 10 minutes to get order

I have yet to have a bad experience here, and I'm here for lunch 3-4 times a week. The food is hot and fresh, the service is quick, and if you remember what it was before Casa Jalisco moved in, you'd be astounded by what it is now.

Delicious, standard (in a good way), American Mexican food. Massive portions (I looked like a small child next to the burrito), super fast, lovely staff, and strong drinks. Also maybe the most affordable place to eat out in Ellsworth. It gets a weekly visit from me.

This place is a gem in Maine’s culinary scene. I knew this state is known for its food and this place does not disappoint. Everything was so good! Starting with the nachos and a deliciously spicy and acidic salsa Rocha, this has been an enjoyable experience from beginning to end, and trust me when I say: I know what good food is. Look at my google reviewer points and you know this review is the real deal. You gotta try the quesadillas and the fajitas! The best thing: the prices are really cheap for the quality and the quantity that you get! So stop by on your way to Acadia or be like us and plan your next road trip from New Mexico directly to Casa Jalisco
