Owners were polite and helpful. They allow you to taste before you buy so you can make a more informed decision. Incredible selection of many exciting tea blends and a roster of spices that aren't very commonly found in a typical grocery store.

Great selection, and great service! Such a cute shop, I love coming in, getting my regular teas and asking for something new and different. The owner comes through with something delicious I've never had every time. She also has some unique loose spices beyond the usual grocery store standards. Would recommend and will be returning!

This is a beautiful tea/spice shop and a true gem in downtown Everett. The owners are lovely people and there is a huge selection.

When I was doing some pickling this past summer, I wanted to try a different spice recipe, but didn't want to buy a lot of each of the ingredients. I called Chai Cupboard & gave them the spice recipe & they were able to put it together for me. It was a great help to me!
I can always count on Chai Cupboard for good quality herbs & spices. It's wonderful having a local resource for teas, too. I no longer have to put up with low quality (& expensive) grocery store spices, nor drive to Seattle for a nice selection of loose leaf teas. Wonderful location, with ample on-street parking, too!

Stopped by today to pick out a gift for my sister. Cute, lovely store with a fantastic selection. They have a nice selection of teas, spices, and carry some of the more obscure spices that are harder to find. Wonderful customer service! Will be back to stock my pantry!

Simply the Best tea shop around ‼💯

Really enjoyed my recent visit to this great new tea & spice store! A great addition to the downtown Everett corridor! Go check it out, you won't be disappointed!

1) Staff was very helpful and friendly in answering all of my questions

2) Store has a nice clean, easy to digest layout with a wide variety of products, but not so much selection where it becomes overwhelming.

3) Prices for tea and spices was incredibly reasonable. Now having used my purchases I can say everything is good quality too.

I will definitely be returning to the Chai Cupboard. My only feedback would be if they could have printed labels/descriptions to put on your purchases. That way when you buy your bulk tea (especially as gifts) people could know all the flavor notes/ingredients.

Chai Cupboard has a wide variety of loose teas and spices (along with some tea accesories like travel mugs, teapots, and the like). My partner and I are making our way through a sampling of something like 8 of their tea blends.

We definitely enjoy some more than others- our favorite so far, winning the "Labeling Accuracy" award from us is an Apple Maple Muffin blend they had when we stopped in. It's so good, and it tasted exactly like an apple muffin! We also bought some salt and 5 different varieties of whole peppercorns (we use pepper a LOT in our cooking) and the quality is top notch.

After the amount of time we spent in the store making our selections and chatting with the wonderful owner, Jen, we were surprised to come away at under $30 with all of our many samplings (at about an ounce or two each). I actually felt a little bad we didn't spend more, considering all the effort she put into describing things, giving recommendations, and packaging our selections. We will definitely be coming back for our favorites and to try even more of the quality product Chai Cupboard has to offer.

Side note: BIG bonus points for me that a small business like this one goes out of their way to use sustainable packaging- they are happy to fill containers you bring from home, but their packaging at the store is biodegradable. If you forget your container or stop in spontaneously, don't worry! You won't be adding to the landfill problem if you compost these. 😊

This place is so cute. We were walking by and I just had to go in. The simplistic yet super stylish storefront is a huge draw. They have so many tea varieties and spices. Such a great place to shop in bulk or small batch. The owners were so friendly, and very helpful. We will for sure be back as we always love to support a small business. Way to go they deserve to be super successful!

The owner is very friendly and accommodating. The shop has a vast array of
teas and spices. The tea blends are great (Banana Zing and Berry Buzz are my favs) and the spices are so cheap compared to what is offered in grocery stores. In fact, I couldn't find marjoram anywhere a few months back, but Chai Cupboard not only had it in stock, but I was able to buy it for a fraction of what I would have paid for it down the street.

Great loose leaf tea shop close to home. Great prices and good selection, also has spices available. Customer service was great and super nice. The owners truly care about the business, and asked why we were getting certain teas so they could get better options for what the customers want. Look forward to coming back and seeing this business grow. Highly recommend this place.

I’ve been to a lot of tea shops across the US and this place is probably my favorite. The people who work in the shop are so knowledgeable and the pricing is extremely well priced (I think they could raise their prices!). We got guided through for about a half an hour and bought so many different teas. I highly recommend this place!

Jen is so nice and knowledgeable about tea and brewing! Wonderful experience 10/10 will go back there again. Also the store smells amazing! Love this place!

Wonderful tea shop you will notice after trying the teas that they are carefully hand selected by the owners. Great quality and very reasonable prices.
