The Whistle Stop

The Calzone is not only huge and delicious, but cost effective too! The fried chicken salad was just as good! I haven't been since The Whistle Stop bought 12 Below but I'll definitely start going again!!

I stopped at The Whistle Stop today and ordered a calzone. It wasn’t on the menu board but they said they make them. It cost $10.99 for a plain ricotta and mozzarella. Additional toppings are $1.00 each. I added onions and pepperoni. It was big enough for two people and was delicious!

Great pizza! Ordered 8 large pizza's for Mother's day party at our lake place. All were great and order was ready as promised.

It's hard to find a good pizza here in Florida, especially after growing up in jersey... this is definitely one of the better options out there, it's out of the way for us, but we might have to swing back down!

So this place is very deceiving from the road. They're really a little no frills place for great food, prompt friendly service.

I'd seen their photos on Facebook and planned to one day try them and today was the day!

We both ordered the Big Fish sandwich. It comes with fries and they make sure you get plenty. The fried grouper was done to perfection and there was plenty of it! No bait and switch here, pictures do it no justice. There was so much delicious food fish and no matter how hard I tried, it wouldn't stay on the bun.

While dining we noticed other people's meals and they were taking half their meal home with them too

Good Reuben sandwich. My friend and I shared it, was a nice sized meal for 2 ladies today. Surprised it came with fries. Ordered take out, did not eat in.

First time at The Whistle Stop. I was very impressed with the food. I had the Texas Burger all the way. Received it just as ordered. It came with fries, may I say the best fries I have ever had. Top notch all the way. Downside: Canned drinks only, only outside tables. Must try.

One of the coolest spots around! Always great food and customer service! I would recommend giving this place a try if you haven't, you won't be disappointed

Worth trying out 4 sure. I had fish my friend had Philly. I'll try Philly next time no regrets on fish though.

Just a small place in a small town but one of the best patty melts I've ever had. Also good ice cream.

I was in the area for a few days working and hit this place up a few times.

To the person that left the one-star review about the young girls being treated badly the young girl is my daughter and she loves working there so I don't know what you're talking about.

I love their vegetable pizza!

Bacon cheese burger pizza, that's all I got to say.
