Alebrijes Cafe & Grill

Not only is the food delicious but the costumer service is next level. We were served by a young man who was super attentive the entire time despite having a lot of other customers. We asked numerous questions of ingredients used for certain menu items and he was able to elaborate with detail. I loved the cafe de olla, I will definitely be going back.

RECOMMEND. Teriffic service, food & ambiance. Cafe de olla is fabulous (no cream or sugar necessary). Chorizo with poblano breakfast was good - spicy. Enchiladas suizas - three enchiladas (1 cheese, 1 mushroom & spinach, 1 chicken) smothered in green sauce, cheese and topped with over medium egg. Shared a concha french toast - filled with ice cream and topped with lecheria and caramel. Very good!

Best Mexican food in AZ! Don’t waste your time going somewhere else based on the current “trend”, I was hoping I could keep this place as my little secret home cooked Mexican meal away from home all to myself but reviews speak for themselves! I’ve recommended this place to family & friends and they all loved it! Our favorite is the pistachio French toast as a brunch dessert, soooo good!

Really beautiful atmosphere, Service? I never be in another place with the BEST SERVICE EVER. All the staff was amazing. And the food… the best I tasted in long time. They make me feel in Oaxaca Mexico. Mezcal it’s boom!!! 1000% recommended

Went here for the first time w/ my husband on 2/16/24 and had a great time! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was homey aaaaand there was music playing. 🥹

The only reason for the four-star service was because they accidentally charged my card for someone else’s check so they had to refund it, but other than that everyone was friendly and inviting.

We will definitely be returning!

Just stopped for lunch. I had the tres tacos. All delicious! Very good flavors. The rice and beans were exceptional as well, which is usually not the case at most places. I’d definitely come again.

This place was great. I've seen it many times when driving by, finally stopped in. Everything was delicious. The menu is full of authentic offerings, we had to Google a lot of things for translations. We will definitely be back.

The tres moles chips and guacamole was pretty fantastic. Maybe a bit heavy on the sauce or light on the chips, one or the other. Delicious either way.

Everything was very filling. Didn't finish half.of the quesadilla. My friend didn't finish half of her three tacos. We both were completely satiated.

Came here for the first time and it was delicious! We got the chilaquiles and they were the perfect amount of crispness. Will for sure be coming back to try more dishes . Staff was also very sweet and makes for a perfect family spot!

Alebrijes!!! The absolute best place to go have dinner with your lovely wife on a Friday night. The food was amazing, the two man band called the Carr Street Band that was playing was awesome! Great atmosphere, I had the enchiladas Suizas, they were better than moms, just don’t tell her! My wife had the rib eye steak fajitas, so delicious. The margaritas were very refreshing. Lastly, the entire staff are so friendly and welcoming, it felt like home. Alebrijes never disappoints, one of my favorite restaurants on the West Side,

This is a hidden gem. Absolutely flavorful, delicious food and drinks. You don't just taste hot/spicy but this wonderful, mouthwatering assortment of flavors. The staff adds a wealth of friendly and welcoming atmosphere to your dining experience.

Food is delicious! Our server Mau was over the top with the service. Try the Mole chilaquiles (spicy) authentic Oaxacan food! Would recommend 100%.

Mau gave us the greatest service I have ever experienced so far in a restaurant. Other than the amazing service the food is delicious 😋 . Definitely a go to restaurant.

We drove across town to try out this place. We had heard about it but didn't really want to take the drive. Today after church we decided to go.
I will just say that I was not happy with myself for not coming here sooner.
We did get there on peak hour but didn't have to wait too long. The wait was worth it.
I personally fell in love with the Café de Olla. All of our food was delicious and the servings are generous.
The restaurant itself is not that big, I like it because you don't get overwhelmed with people.
The service was, average you can say, I don't know if our waitress was too busy because we seen her at the beginning of our say and at the end. In between we we were cared for by two other servers. I would have like to just be waited by one person but I get that we were in peak hours and servers get busy. I'm just glad that other servers were looking over us as well. That is not gonna stop me from visiting again. I will post an update of my next visit.
Do go and give this place a visit, even if you live in the east valley, you will not regret it.

The jalapeño margarita is the best margarita I’ve ever had.
The ceviche is excellent as was the Red Chili Pork Plate.
I have found my go to Mexican restaurant.
Also very good live music on Saturday evening.

Been coming here for a minute now . Foods always fire . I don’t even like black beans but they have fresh ones that’s are so good it’s insane . All the sauces touch this fat kid at hearts craving for flavor . Guy fieri would pour the mole on himself if he ever had it .

We loved the Restaurant! Finally found a Restaurant that has Authentic Mexican Food and from Oaxaca. The Owners and Staff very Friendly and Attentive. The Owner came by our table and talked about different dishes they offer. We definitely will be returning and referring Family and Friends to this Restaurant.

This is a very festive place you’ll see it from its decorations but also the great staff looking always happy to serve you.
The restaurant has a nice size, great light, loved the deco and loved the food ! Prices are very reasonable. The lemonade was sooo good ! Cafe de Olla was a little on the sweet side for me but my husband said it was really good it was just cold. We do recommend this little restaurant to go with the whole family for a delicious and fresh breakfast or with friends or co workers or on a date night, they serve alcoholic drinks as well👍🏻

It was out first time here and we loved it. The food is delicious, our server Mauro was fantastic!! He was super friendly and very attentive. The atmosphere was very nice. To our surprise they had live music and the two gentlemen played GREAT!
I will definitely recommend this restaurant to family and friends.

We noticed this place today as we went out for breakfast. We saw a good amount of cars and thought they must be open. They serve "brunch" starting at 8 am and also lunch and dinner. We'll definitely come back for more food again.

We both got the Alebrijes Chilaquiles. My wife got the green, milder, and I got the red, spicier. Such good flavor in both. We also added shredded chicken which had a good flavor on its own.

The big hit was their specialty coffee, Cafe de Ollo. It is coffee infused with cinnamon and brown sugar. And while it's amazing black, putting a little cream in it kicks it up another level. A definite must try!

The service was quick and friendly. The atmosphere, tables, and chairs feel like they're newer in business, but not uncomfortable. Still developing I think.

For lunch and dinner, I need to return. If you're interested, they do seem to have a full bar.
