HOOK'd Bar and Grill

Always have a fun time making a trip out to the lake for some lunch. I have tried many of their sandwiches and they've always been great. They have indoor seating or a covered patio. The patio is dog friendly if you're looking for somewhere to bring your dog. If you are just stopping by for the restaurant, let the staff at the entrance know and they'll print you a visitors pass for 2 hours parking.

The food was delicious! We ordered a Cachuma Burger and a beef hot dog with onion rings. At dust I was disappointed that their most popular dish was out, but what we ordered was amazing! If I had to pick something to improve, it would be to turn on the outdoor heaters. It was a bit chilly and it would've made a nicer wait. The ambience at the order counter was interesting with fish on the wall above. Overall it was charming. The woman behind the counter was helpful with food choices.

Nice place to sit and enjoy your food. Recommended to visit during evening hours where you can enjoy live music(weekends) and lake view. Have limited menu option but the food is very good. They haveeal.option for kids also. Wonderful place to spend time with your friends and family. #Happymotoring #enjoylife.

Delicious food and cocktails with a spectacular view of Cachuma Lake. Great day trip from Santa Barbara! Their burger was perfectly crafted as was their Cobb Salad. Live music on Saturday afternoons. Friendly service. We took a walk around the area after our meal and it was lovely. Perfect afternoon date location. Park entrance fee is validated with food purchase. Highly recommend.

Fabulous favorites, like grilled cheese, hotdogs and burgers. We had a classic grilled cheese sandwich, hotdog and onion rings. Super yummy! The food was cooked "just right." Crispy on the outside, cheesy gooey on the inside. Great flavor. The place is immaculate and the staff are wonderful. Definitely, even if you aren't hungry, make some room for these classic eats. 👌

This place is just one of the many reasons I love to camp at Lake Cachuma. Their menu is not huge but what they have is nothing short of amazing. My favorite is the tri-tip sandwich. The sides are big and getting one to share is plenty. We always order the 50/50. Half onion rings and half fries. They do not allow you to bring your own beverages so a heads up if you plan to. Grab a table by the water and enjoy the view of the lake and the beautiful wildlife.

Pricey but good, I suppose you have to pay for the beautiful view. Good people, good service. Darn good Bloody Mary and the burgers are pretty tasty too.

UPDATE: They have new hours and have opened up the inside. They have added a full bar with a good selection of craft beer, too. I was camping at the lake and smelled them grilling tri tip outside and absolutely had to try a tri tip sandwich. It was delicious!

My partner and I were in town for the Reggae Concert and came down to HOOK'd since it was near the venue. We ordered a Bacon Burger and The Tri Tip sandwich with a draft beer. Of course, later, we ordered a few Palomas since they have a full bar. We sat outside by the fire pit and relaxed for a bit till we got out our food. I love the fact that the bathrooms are clean . Most definitely a nice place. The staff was professional the service was excellent will come here again with our doggo since they are allowed.

My wife and I are regular boaters up at Lake Cachuma. We have had many items on the HOOK'd menu and they ALL have been delicious! We especially love getting a breakfast burrito and taking it with us on the boat! Today I had the sirloin sandwich. The roll was fresh and toasted and the sirloin was grilled outdoors on oak to perfection and sliced thin--best sandwich I've had in some time! I most highly recommend the food at HOOK'd--a well deserved 5 stars!!!

The food was not only delicious but beautifully presented! The salad was made with veggies Fresh from their local garden and the flavors were amazing— very hearty! Very friendly staff. The cocktails were delicious as well, hard to believe this place was hidden off the road, but that makes it a great spot for an amazing view of the lake while enjoying amazing food. Also the fries, OMG. You don’t often get great food, good service and amazing views all in one, but this is it! Worth the drive!

What a pleasant surprise! My family needed a lunch pit stop and happened upon Hook’d, located inside the park at Lake Cachuma. A receipt from the restaurant is good for 2 hours in the park. The food was delicious, the service was superb, and the view was fantastic. We sat outside at one of the picnic tables and enjoyed our meal in the shade.

We were camping a decided to try the cafe at the marina! We were delighted! We both got the Cachuma Burger and split a basket of onion rings/fries. The burger is enormous and really tasty. I got the double patty option and gave the extra burger patty to my dog. The onion rings were so lightly crispy and delicious! We sat on the patio and enjoyed the lake view. The service was really friendly and efficient! We will return to the cafe on our next camping visit! They did have fresh water bowls outside for dogs 🥰

You know, this might be the best burger I've had this year. Just delicious ! The view is great, tap beer is cold, and the service is awesome. I recommend !

I was told about this place from another person, I haven't been to the lake in 15 years , so I decided to try it out today, I ordered a burger and fries. man was I impressed very beautiful presentation, taste was great , not over or under cooked ,fries great ,service excellent. if solvang is packed definitely stop on by people chris and dean the owners are very serious about there place and your experience, and on Saturday live band , am definitely going back ,

The tri-tip sandwich was delicious. The service people were all very friendly! The website listed live music for Sunday but the musician never showed up. The cashier told us that live music on Sunday was hit-and-miss but the Saturday performance was more consistent. Make sure to hold onto your receipt to validate parking.

Yes, it is pricey. I spent $90 for 3 people to eat lunch. I do feel it was worth it. The food was great and they hook up the tri tip sandwich with lots of meat. My teenage son got the hamburger and said it was very good and filling. Fries and onion rings were yummy too. You also can't beat the view. We sat outside at the waters edge. So beautiful! Especially now with the lake being full. My brother was visiting from out of town and really enjoyed our lunch and the lake.

Super nice staff, fantastic tri-tip sandwich and veggie grilled cheese sandwich. Good burger too. Liked that you can get 50/50 fries/onion ring order, and they’re big enough to split. Lovely patio that’s dog friendly, with a beautiful view of the lake.
