Stayed here last June with my sister. We Tent camped.
The first day we arrived it was pouring rain, not ideal for setting up a tent. I messaged the owner to let him know we wouldn't be arriving until the following morning. he was super understanding and accommodating & held our site for us. The location of this campground is right outside the Lanse city limit and, has a private beach access. The campground itself is super well kept, easily accessible, clean, Beautiful. & The bathrooms/shower houses are immaculate.
Will be returning again this summer & cannot wait =) You cannot beat the affordable cost of this hidden gem!

This has been our go-to camping spot, since we found it, a few years ago. Property and staff are great. Dog friendly, with amazing views of the bay.

Have camped here for 4 years during the Aura Jamboree and love this place. Steve. Mike, and Mark do a great job maintaining the grounds, lavatories, and all facilities in top condition.

Beautiful campground with great views. The host, Mike, is as helpful as you want him to be without hovering. Nice guy. The grounds are well laid out and comfortable. They have a dump station, electric, showers and playground. The city is an easy bike ride away on a gorgeous coastline street that wasn't busy at all. We will be back!

This is a wonderful park, very reasonable camping rates, well maintained, staff is super nice and helpful - they brought over extra blocks to help level our camper. Nice playground area for our two year old. Access to the water (down the hill and across the road) - this is a place we'll come back to!

Excellent camp area, close to amenities, super clean, great staff. Kids playground, showers, views, nothing at all bad to say. Shower house is older and could be updated, but for $15/night to camp, I think just having a shower facility is a huge plus. If you have the pleasure of being a guest of this wonderful spot in MI, I strongly recommend staying here. Be sure to take in the sunset at the lake across the street!!

The owner is great and very accommodating. Helpful and knowledgeable to local hot spots as well. The camping grounds were very nice and well kept. Love the gazebo down by the lake front too!

I would not normally give a campground five stars unless it has full hookups *and* lots of space between sites, but this place was so beautiful that I can't see giving it less. I should note that there appeared to be an electrical problem at my site. He said he'd have someone look at it on the day I left, which is fair, since I had told him there was no rush. But maybe consider one of those surge suppressors that warns you of faulty hookups. I'd definitely stay here again.

This campground is amazing. We have a 38 ft 5th wheel and it was easy to navigate through the park. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this campground. The views of Lake Superior are breath taking.

this campground is amazing!!! Very clean and well kept. $15 for tents $20 for all others. all sites have electric hookups. There are bathrooms with running water, showers with good hot water, fire pits at each site , playgrounds for kids and a gazeebo on the waters edge for guest to use. we will always come here when in the area staying for now on.

Zero children meant zero screaming parents! Imagine that. Made the view and overall experience, the best camping I've ever had.
The camp manager is amazing and so kind. The grounds are so clean and the grass is bliss to walk barefoot in, very well kept. I don't want to leave!

Heaven on Earth ❤ watching the Bald Eagles fish in the bay is better than sunset.
Shower facility is decent, waters never cold, so that's what counts to me. We go EVERY year for a whole week!

Nice camping opportunity here! If you are a tenter, get here early to get a flat site! Sites have plenty of grass for dirt free camping. Tenting area is a bit of a walk to bathhouse. Bathhouse is clean with plenty of hot water. Fun play area for kids. Skeeters are out so bring spray. Appreciate $15 tent fee...very reasonable!

Small, quiet, quaint park with large, grassy, shady sites on a bluff overlooking the Keweenaw Bay. Neat, clean, peaceful, almost no road noise. View of the lighthouse across the water. Great sunsets. Well-maintained shower/restrooms. Beautiful drive up the peninsula. No frills and inexpensive. Could not ask for a better camping experience.

Easy peasy. There's only one shower in each of the restrooms but it doesn't matter because nobody's ever using them anyway. Stayed in a tent here for four nights would stay again. Good location check out the waterfalls in town beautiful beautiful

My grandkids love picnicking, playing, the view, etc as much as I always did. New restrooms and addition of splash pad made for a major improvement. Summer concerts and movies are always good family fun.

Beautiful campground, stayed for 3 nights recently. We did have 2 black bears wander into our campsite so keep that in mind. Overall a great experience!

Peaceful, well maintained municipal campground with bluff view of Lake Superior. A gazebo and small dock at water level is available to park guests. There are hiking trails as well. The town of L`Anse is a short bike ride away along the shore road.
